सा.का.नि. 108(अ).-वास्तु कला अधिनियम, 1977 ( 1972 का 20 ) की धारा 16 द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए केन्द्र सरकार, वास्तुकला परिषद् से परामर्श के पश्चात् एतद्वारा निदेश देती है कि ' प्रौद्योगिकी संस्थान अधिनियम, 1961 ( 1961 का 59 ) ' की धारा 3 के अन्तर्गत सम्मिलित किए गए भारतीय प्रौद्योगिकी संस्थान और ' विश्वविद्यालय अनुदान आयोग अधिनियम , 1956 ( 1965 का 3 ) ' की धारा 3 के अन्तर्गत 'विश्वविद्यालय ' घोषित की गई प्रत्येक उच्चतर शिक्षा संस्था द्वारा प्रदान की गई ' वास्तुकला स्नातक' ( बी. आर्क ) डिग्री ' वास्तुकला अधिनियम, 1972 ( 1972 का 20 ) ' के प्रयोजनार्थ मान्यताप्राप्त अर्हता है, और उपर्युक्त प्रयोजनार्थ ' वास्तुकला अधिनियम , 1972 ( 1972 का 20) ' संबंधी अनुसूची में निम्नलिखित संशोधन करती है, नामतः-
वास्तुकला अधिनियम, 1972 संबंधी अनुसूचीमें:
(i ) क्रम संख्या 3 और उससे संबंधित प्रविष्टि के स्थान पर निम्नलिखित क्रम संख्या और प्रविष्टि प्रतिस्थापित की जाएगी , नामतः:-
" 3. प्रौद्योगिकी संस्थान अधिनियम, 1961 ( 1961 का 59 ) की धारा 3 के अन्तर्गत सम्मिलित भारतीय प्रौद्योगिकी संस्थान द्वारा प्रदान की गई वास्तुकला स्नातक ( बी.आर्क ) डिग्री , "
( ii ) क्रम संख्या 17 और उससे संबंधित प्रविष्टि के पश्चात् निम्नलिखित क्रम संख्या और प्रविष्टि जोडी जाएगी, नामतः :-
" 18. विश्वविद्यालय अनुदान आयोग अधिनियम, 1956 ( 1956 का 3 ) की धारा 3 के अन्तर्गत ' विश्वविद्यालय ' घोषित की गई प्रत्येक उच्चतर शिक्षा संस्थान द्वारा प्रदान की गई वास्तुकला स्नातक डिग्री । "

3. सा.का.नि. संख्या 866, दिनांक16-10-1982, पृष्ठ संख्या 2423 के साथ भारत के राजपत्र के भाग II , खण्ड 3 , उप- खण्ड ( i ) में अधिसूचित
4. मंत्रालय के संख्या 16-12/87-टी-12/टीडी-3, दिनांक 29-11-1990 द्वारा भारत के राजपत्र में अधिसूचित
5. मंत्रालय के संख्या 16-12/87- टी-3 /टीडी- III, दिनांक 7-10-1993 द्वारा भारत के राजपत्र में अधिसूचित
6. सा.का.नि. 482 , दिनांक 12-9-1994 द्वारा भारत के राजपत्र में अधिसूचित

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 25th February , 2005
G.S.R. 108(E) . In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 16 ofthe Architects Act, 1972 (20 of 1972) , the Central Government, after consultation with the Council of Architecture , hereby directs that Degree of Bachelor of Architecture (B. Arch. ) awarded by an Indian Institute of Technology incorporated under Section 3 of the Institutes of Technology Act , 1961 (59 of 1961 ) and by every institution for higher education declared to be a university under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 (3 of 1956) shall be a recognized qualification for the purposes of the Architects Act, 1972 (20 of 1972 ) , and for the said purpose makes the following amendments in the Schedule to the Architects Act, 1972 (20 of 1972) , namely :-
In the Schedule to the Architects Act , 1972 ,-
(1) for serial number 3 and the entry relating thereto the following serial number and entry shall be substituted, namely:---
"3. Degree ofBachelor of Architecture (B. Arch. ) awardedby the Indian Institute of Technology incorporated under Section 3 of the Institutes of Technology Act, 1961 (59 of 1961 ). " ,
(ii) after serial number 17 and the entry relating thereto , the following serial number and entry shall be added, namely:-
" 18. Bachelor Degree of Architecture awarded by every institution for higher education declared to be a university under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 (3 of 1956) . "
