NewDelhi , the 11th March, 2005 नई दिल्ली, 11 मार्च, 2005 का.आ. 311 (अ ) -केन्द्रीय सरकार, प्रेस परिषद्अधिनियम, 1978(1978 का 37 ) की धारा 5 की उपधारा ( 2 ) के अनुसरण में भारत के उच्चतम न्यायालय के सेवानिवृत्त न्यायाधीश न्यायमूर्ति श्री जी.एन. रॉय का, उस उपधारा में निर्दिष्ट समिति द्वारा उन्हें नामनिर्दिष्ट किए जाने पर, भारतीय प्रेस परिषद् के अध्यक्ष के रूप में नामनिर्देशन अधिसूचित करती है और ऐसा नामनिर्देशन इस अधिसूचनाके प्रकाशन कीतारीख से प्रभावी होगा ।
S.O. 311 (E) . In pursuance of sub - section (2) of Section 5 of the Press Council Act, 1978 (37 of 1978) , the Central Government hereby notifies the nomination of Shri Justice G.N. Roy, retired Judge of the Supreme Court ofIndia, as the Chairman of the Press Council of India on hisbeing nominated by the Committee referred to in that sub-section and such nomination shall take effect from the dateofpublication of this notification.
