सं. भा.आ.प. - 12( 2 )/2004-चि./32371.-भारतीय आयुर्विज्ञान परिषद् अधिनियम , 1956 ( 1956 का 102 ) की धारा 33 द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का इस्तेमाल करते हुए, केन्द्रीय सरकार की पूर्व स्वीकृति से, भारतीय आयुर्विज्ञान परिषद्, आयुर्विज्ञान संस्थान विनियम, 1998 में अध्यापकों की न्यूनतम शैक्षिक योग्यता में संशोधन करने के लिए एतद्द्वारा निम्नलिखित विनियम बनाती है, अर्थात्: -
1. (क) इन विनियमों " आयुर्विज्ञान संस्थानों में अध्यापकों के लिए न्यूनतम शैक्षिक योग्यता ( संशोधन ) विनियमावली, 2004" कहा जाएगा ।
(ख ) यह विनियम इनके राजपत्र में प्रकाशित होने की तारीख से लागू हो जाएंगे ।
2. आयुर्विज्ञान संस्थानों में अध्यापकों के लिए न्यूनतम शैक्षिक योग्यता विनियमावली , 1998 में अनुसूची 1 में पैराग्राफ 1 के बाद निम्नलिखित जोड़ा जाएगा, अर्थात्:
" 1 क. स्नातक और स्नातकोत्तर आयुर्विज्ञान शिक्षा प्रदान करने के लिए किसी आयुर्विज्ञान कालेज या संस्थान में भारतीय आयुर्विज्ञान परिषद् के मापदंडों के अनुसार भरे जाने वाले अध्यापकों या संकायाध्यक्ष या प्रधानाचार्य या निदेशक जैसा भी मामला हो, के पदों के प्रतिसेवा में जिस अधिकतम आयु सीमा तक किसी व्यक्तिको नियुक्त किया जा सकता है या सेवा विस्तार की स्वीकृति दी जा सकती है या पुनर्नियोजित किया जा सकता है, वह अधिकतम आयु सीमा 65 वर्ष होगी । "

New Delhi , the 15thMarch, 2005
No. MC1-12 (2)/2004-Med./32371.-In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 33 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 ( 102 of 1956), the Medical Council of India with the previous sanction of the Central Government, hereby makes the following Regulations to amend the Minimum Qualifications for Teachers in Medical Institutions Regulations , 1998, namely:-
1. (i ) These Regulations may be called the " Minimum Qualifications for Teachers in Medical Institutions (Amendment ) Regulations, 2004" .
(ii) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Minimum Qualifications for Teachers in Medical Institutions Regulations, 1998, in the SCHEDULE- I , after paragraph 1. the following shall be inserted, namely:-
" IA. The maximum age limit up to which a person can be appointed or granted extension or re - employed in service against the posts of Teachers or Dean or Principal or Director, as the case may be , which are required to be filled up as per the norms of the Medical Council of India in any Medical College or Teaching Institution for imparting Graduate and Post-Graduate medical education , shall be 65 years . "
