सा.का.नि. 186( अ )-महापत्तन न्यास अधिनियम , 1963 (1963का 38 ) की धारा 3 की उप- धारा ( 6 ) के साथ पठित उप- धारा ( 1 ) के खंड ( ग ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए तथा भारत सरकार के पहले के पोत परिवहन मंत्रालय, पत्तन स्कंध की दिनांक 16-7-2004 की अधिसूचना सा.का.नि. सं. 455 ( अ ) , दिनांक 10-8-2004 की सा.का. नि. सं. 508 ( अ ) , दिनांक 22-9-2004 की सा.का.नि. सं. 635 ( अ ) और दिनांक2-11-2004 की सा.का.नि. सं. 729 ( अ) के साथ पठित दिनांक 14-5-2004 की सा.का.नि. सं. 318 ( अ ) के क्रम में, केन्द्र सरकार, एतद्द्वारा निम्नलिखित को उक्त अधिसूचना के क्रमांक 18 के बाद, चेन्ई पत्तन के न्यासी बोर्ड में न्यासी के रूप में नियुक्त करती है: -

G.S.R. 186 (E ) .- In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (c) of Sub - section ( 1 ) read with Sub- section (6) of Section 3 of the Major Port Trusts Act, 1963 ( 38 of 1963 ) and in continuation of the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Shipping, Ports Wing , G.S.R. No. 318 (E) dated 14-5-2004 read with G.S.R. No. 455 (E) dated 16-7-2004 and G.S.R. No. 508 (E) dated 10-8-2004, G.S.R. No. 635 (E) dated 22-9-2004 and G.S.R. No. 729(E) dated 2-11-2004, the Central Government hereby appoints the following as trustees after serial number 18 of the said Notification on the Board of Trustees for the Port of Chennai :-
19 . Shri K. Shankar , Executive Director , Sanmar Shipping Ltd. , 9 , Cathedral Road, Chennai - 600086 representing Indian National Shipowners ' Association.
