सा.का.नि. 709(अ) .-केन्द्रीय सरकार, कम्पनी अधिनियम, 1956 ( 1956 का 1 ) की धारा 209 की उप- धारा ( 1 ) के खण्ड ( घ) के साथ पठित धारा 642 की उप- धारा ( 1 ) के द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, लागत लेखा अभिलेख ( विद्युत उद्योग ) नियम, 2001 में निम्नलिखित संशोधन करती है , अर्थात्:-
(1 ) इन नियमों का संक्षिप्त नाम लागत लेखा अभिलेख (विद्युत उद्योग ) संशोधन नियम, 2005 है ।
(2) ये राजपत्र में प्रकाशन की तारीख से प्रभावी होंगे ।
2. लागत लेखा अभिलेख (विद्युत उद्योग ) नियम, 2001 की अनुसूची के पैरा 6 के उप- पैरा ( 3 ) में " विद्युत (प्रदाय ) अधिनियम, 1948" शब्दों, कोष्ठकों और अंकों के स्थान पर " विद्युत अधिनियम, 2003 " शब्द और अंक रखें ।

New Delhi , the 7th December, 2005
G.S.R. 709(E) . In exercise of the powers con- ferred by Sub - section ( 1) of Section 642 , read with clause (d) ofSub -section ( 1) of Section 209 of the Companies Act , 1956 ( 1 of 1956), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Cost Accounting Records (Electricity Industry) Rules , 2001 , namely:-
(1) These rules may be called the Cost Accounting Records (Electricity Industry) Amendment Rules, 2005 .
(2) They shall come into force from the date oftheir publication in the Official Gazette .
2. In the Cost Accounting Records (Electricity Industry) Rules , 2001 , in Schedule, in paragraph 6, in sub- paragraph (3) , for the words, brackets and figures " the Electricity (Supply) Act, 1948 " the words and figures "The ElectricityAct, 2003 " shall be substituted.
