सा.का.नि. 711 (अ) .-केन्द्र सरकार, महापत्तन न्यास अधिनियम , 1963 ( 1963 का 38 ) की धारा 132 की उप- धारा ( 1 ) के साथ पठित धारा 124 की उप - धारा ( 1 ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए चेन्नै पत्तन न्यास के न्यासी मंडल द्वारा बनाए गए और इस अधिसूचना के साथ संलग्न अनुसूची में दर्शित मद्रास पोर्ट ट्रस्ट कर्मचारी ( नियुक्ति, पदोन्नति आदि ) ( संशोधन ) विनियम, 2005 का अनुमोदन करती है ।
2. ये विनियम इस अधिसूचना के राजपत्र में प्रकाशित होने की तारीख से लागू होंगे ।

मद्रास पोर्ट ट्रस्ट कर्मचारी ( नियुक्ति, पदोन्नति आदि ) ( संशोधन ) विनियम, 2005
महापत्तन न्यास अधिनियम, 1963 ( 1963 का 38 ) की धारा 28 के तहत प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए चेन्नै पोर्ट ट्रस्ट न्यासी मण्डल , निम्नलिखित विनियमों के संशोधन करता है :-
1. लघु शीर्ष:-
(1 ) ये विनियम मद्रास पोर्ट ट्रस्ट कर्मचारी ( नियुक्ति, पदोन्नति आदि) ( संशोधन ) विनियम, 2005 कहलाएंगे ।
(2 ) ये विनियम, सरकारी राजपत्र में विनियमों के प्रकाशन की तारीख से लागू होंगे ।
(3 ) मद्रास पोर्ट ट्रस्ट कर्मचारी ( नियुक्ति, पदोन्नति आदि) विनियम, 1977 में संलग्न अनुसूची में, " अभियंता विभाग III " के तहत अधीक्षक अभियन्ता ( ड्रेजिंग ) के पद को नियुक्ति प्रणाली की मद 4 ( सी ) के विरुद्ध बताए गए मौजूदा खण्ड को निम्न प्रकार से प्रतिस्थापित किया जाएगा ।

G.SR. 711 (E) . In exercise of the powers conferred by Sub - section ( 1 ) of Section 124 , read with Sub - section ( 1 ) of Section 132 of the Major Port Trusts Act , 1963 (38 of 1963 ) , the Central Government hereby approves the Madras Port Trust Employees ' (Appointment, Promotion etc. ) ( Amendment ) Regulations , 2005 made by the Board of Trustees of Chennai Port Trust as set out in the Schedule annexed to this Notification.
The said Regulations shall come into force from the date of publication of this Notification in the Official Gazette . [F. No. PR- 12012 / 14/2005 -PE - 1 ]

MADRASPORTTRUST EMPLOYEES ' (APPOINTMENT, PROMOTION ETC. ) (AMENDMENT)
REGULATIONS , 2005
In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 28 of the Major Port Trusts Act, 1963 (38 of 1963 ) , the Chennai PortTrust Board hereby makes the following amendment Regulations :--
1. Short Title : These Regulations shall be called Madras Port Trust Employees ' (Apointment, Promotion etc. ) (Amendment ) Regulations, 2005 .
2.These Regulations shall come into force from the date of publication of the Regulations in the Official Gazette.
3. In the Schedule attached to the Madras Port Trust Employees ' ( Appointment, Promotion etc. ) Regulations , 1977, the existing clause shown against item 4(c) in the manner of appointment to the post of Engineer Superintendent (Dredging) under " III -Engineering Department" , shall be substituted as under:-
