सा.का.नि. 723 (अ ).-राष्ट्रपति, संवधिान के अनुच्छेद 76 के साथ पठित संविधान के अनुच्छेद 309 के परंतुक द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का ' प्रयोग करते हुए, विधि अधिकारी ( सेवा की शर्त ) नियम, 1987 का और संशोधन करने के लिए निम्नलिखित नियम बनाते हैं, अर्थात्: - 1. ( 1 ) इन नियमों का संक्षिप्त नाम विधि अधिकारी ( सेवा की शर्त ) संशोधन नियम, 2005 है ।
(2 ) ये राजपत्र में प्रकाशन की तारीख को प्रवृत्त होंगे ।
2. विधि अधिकारी ( सेवा की शर्त ) नियम, 1987 के नियम 4 में, -
(i) उप- नियम ( 1 ) में, " मुम्बई या मद्रास " शब्दों के स्थान पर " मुम्बई या कोलकाता या मद्रास या इलाहाबाद " शब्द रखे जाएंगे;
(ii) खंड 2 के उप- खंड ( ख ) में " या मद्रास " शब्दों के स्थान पर " मद्रास या इलाहाबाद " शब्द और चिह्न रखे जाएंगे ;
(iii) नियम 9 ( 1 ) के स्पष्टीकरण के स्थान पर निम्नलिखित रखा जाएगा, अर्थात्: -
" स्पष्टीकरण- इस नियम के प्रयोजन के लिए, " वैयक्तिक कर्मचारिवृन्द" से अभिप्रेत है : -
(i ) महान्यायवादी और महासालिसिटर के मामले में समुचित ग्रेड में प्रधान निजी सचिव, आशुलिपिक और जमादार;
(ii ) अपर महासालिसिटर के मामले में समुचित ग्रेड में कोई निजी सचिव , आशुलिपिक और जमादार " ।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 16th December, 2005
G.S.R. 723 ( E ) .- In exercise of powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution, read with article 76 of the Constitution , the President, hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Law Officers ( Conditions of Service) Rules, 1987 , namely:--
1. (1) These rules may be called Law officers ( Conditions of Service ) Amendment Rules , 2005 .
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in Official Gazette.
2. In the Law Officers ( Conditions of Service ) Rules, 1987, in rule 4,-
(i) in sub -rule ( 1 ) after the word . "Madras " the words " or Allahabad shall be inserted:
( ii) in clause (2) , in sub - clause (b ) for the words or Madras ' the words and sign. " Madras or Allahabad " shall be substituted;
(iii) for the explanation to the rule 9 ( 1 ) the following shall be substituted, namely :-
"Explanation -For the purpose of this rule " Personal Staff " means:-
(i) in the case of Attorney General and Solicitor General-a Principal . Private Secretary inthe appropriate grade, a stenographer and ajamadar ;
( ii ) in the case of Additional Solicitor General -- a Private Secretary in the appropriate grade , a stenographer and a Jamadar" .
