सं. आरएस. 31 / 2005/सी.ई. आचार समिति के 7वें प्रतिवेदन में अंतर्विष्ट इस सिफारिश पर कि डा. छत्रपाल सिंह लोधा को सभा की सदस्यता से निष्कासित किया जाए क्योंकि उनका आचरण सभा की गरिमा को ठेस पहुँचाने वाला है तथा सभा द्वारा अंगीकार की गई आचार संहिता के अनुरूप नहीं है, सहमति जताते हुए राज्य सभा द्वारा 23 दिसम्बर, 2005 को प्रस्ताव स्वीकार किए जाने के परिणामस्वरूप, उड़ीसा से राज्य सभा के लिए निर्वाचित सदस्य, डा. लोधा 23 दिसम्बर , 2005 के अपराह्न से राज्य सभा के सदस्य नहीं रहे ।
No. RS . 31 /2005/CE . Consequent on the adop- tionofaMotionby the Rajya Sabha on the 23rd December , 2005, agreeing with the recommendation contained in the Seventh Report of the Committee on Ethics , that Dr. Chhattrapal Singh Lodha be expelled from the Member- ship of the House, as his conduct is derogatory to the dignity of the House and inconsistent with the Code of Conduct,which has been adoptedby the House , Dr. Lodha, aMember elected to Rajya Sabha from Orissa, has ceased to be aMember of the Rajya Sabha with effect from the 23rdDecember, 2005 afternoon .
