आ.अ. 2 (अ) .-लोक प्रतिनिधित्व अधिनियम, 1950 ( 1950 का 43 ) की धारा 13 कक की उप - धारा ( 1 ) और उप - धारा ( 2 ) के द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, भारत निर्वाचन आयोग , प ० बंगाल की राज्य सरकार से परामर्श करके, पश्चिम बंगाल राज्य में जिला निर्वाचन अधिकारियों की नियुक्ति से संबंधित अपनी यथा संशोधित दिनांक 18 जनवरी, 2002 की अधिसूचना सं. 508 /प. बंगाल/2001 में आगे निम्नलिखित संशोधन करता है ;
उक्त अधिसूचना के साथ संलग्न सारणी में, स्तंभ 1 , 2 और 3 के अन्तर्गत क्रम सं. 19 पर विद्यमान प्रविष्टि निम्नलिखित प्रविष्टियों के द्वारा प्रतिस्थापित की जाएगी :

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 6th January , 2006
ON . 2 (E ). In exercise of powers conferred by Sub- section ( 1) and Sub -section (2) of Section 13AA of the Representation of the People Act , 1950 (43 of 1950 ) , the Election Commission of India, in consultation with the State Government of West Bengal, hereby makes the following further amendments in its Notification No. 508/WB/2001 , dated 18th January , 2002 , as amended, regarding appointment of District Election Officers in the State of West Bengal ;
In the Table appended to the said Notification, under columns 1 , 2 and 3 the existing entry at S.N. 19 shall be replaced by the following entries :-
