सा.का.नि. 21 (अ) .-केन्द्रीय सरकार, सिगरेट और अन्य तम्बाकू उत्पाद ( विज्ञापन का प्रतिषेध और व्यापार तथा वाणिज्य, उत्पादन, प्रदाय और वितरण का विनियमन) अधिनियम, 2003 (2003 का 34) की धारा 25 द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, इसके द्वारा ( i ) वाणिज्य विभाग के ऐसे अधिकारी , जो टिकट संग्राहक की पंक्तिसे नीचेके न हों या परिचालन विभाग के समतुल्य भक्ति के अधिकारी ; या ( ii ) रेल मंत्रालय के अधीन रेल सुरक्षा बल के ऐसे अधिकारी , जो सहायक उप - निरीक्षक की पंक्तिसे नीचे के न हों, को प्राधिकृत करती है, जो उक्त अधिनियम के अधीन कार्रवाई करने के लिए सक्षम होंगे ।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 12th January, 2006
G.S.R. 21 (E). In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 25 ofthe Cigarettes and other Tobacco Products (Prohibition of Advertisement and Regulation of Trade andCommerce, Production , Supply and Distribution) Act, 2003 (No. 34 of 2003 ), the Central Government hereby authorises , (i) an officer not below the rank of Ticket Collector ofthe Commercial Department or an Officer of equivalent rank of the Operating Department; or ( ii ) an officer not below the rank of Assistant Sub- Inspector of the Railway Protection Force in the Ministry of Railways who shall be competent to act under the said Act.
