का.आ. 54 (अ).- भारतीय आयुर्विज्ञान परिषद् अधिनियम, 1956 ( 1956 का 102 ) की धारा 3 की उप - धारा ( 1 ) के प्रावधानों के अनुसरण में डॉ. वेद प्रकाश मिश्रा को जागपुर विश्वविद्यालय की सीनेट द्वारा उनके चयन होने पर 31 मार्च, 2001, से भारतीय आयुर्विज्ञान परिषद् के एक सदस्य के रूप में नियुक्त किया गया था ।
डॉ. मिश्रा को दत्ता मेघा आयुर्विज्ञान संस्थान ( सम विश्वविद्यालय) , नागपुर के कुलपतिके पद पर अपनी नियुक्ति, जहां उन्होंने 7-1-2006 को कार्यभार ग्रहण किया था, के परिणामस्वरूप दिनांक 7-1-2006 को. नागपुर विश्वविद्यालय से कार्यभार मुक्त कर दिया गया है और इस प्रकार डॉ. मिश्रा , नागपुर विश्वविद्यालय के चिकित्सा संकाय के सदस्य नहीं रहे हैं।
अतः , अब, उक्त अधिनियम की धारा 7 की उप- धारा ( 3 ) के प्रावधान के अनुसरण में डॉ. वेद प्रकाश द्वारा 7-1-2006 से परिषद् में अपनी सीट छोड़ दी गई मानी जाएगी ।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 18th January , 2006
S.O. 54(E). Whereas in pursuance of the provisions ofSub-section (1 ) ofSection 3 ofthe Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956) Dr. Ved Prakash Mishra was appointed as a member ofthe Medical Council of India on his election by the Senate of Nagpur University with effect from 31stMarch, 2001 .
Whereas Dr. Mishra has since been relieved from NagpurUniversity on 7-1-2006 consequent to his appointed as Vice-Chancellor of Datta Meghe Institute of Medical Sciences (Deemed University) , Nagpur where he joined on 7-1-2006, and therefore Dr. Mishra has ceased to be a member of medical faculty of Nagpur University.
Now, therefore, in pursuance of the provision of Sub-section(3 ) ofSection 7 of the said Act, Dr. Ved Prakash Mishra shall be deemed to have vacated his seat in the Councilwith effect from 7-1-2006.
