सा.का.नि. 23(अ).- सक्षम प्राधिकारी के अनुमोदन से सा. का. नि. संख्या 466(अ ), दिनांक 22-7-2004 की राजपत्र अधिसूचना के द्वारा अधिसूचित वन रेन्ज अधिकारियों के लिए प्रवेश एवं प्रशिक्षण नियम ( संशोधित ) , 2004 के नियम 4 और 9 - क में निम्नलिखित संशोधन (जैसा कि कालम -3 में दर्शाया गया है ) किए गए हैं :

G.S.R. 23 (E) . With the approval of competent authority, the following amendments ( as reflected in Column -3 ) to Rule 4 andRule 9 - a, of the Entrance and Training Rules (Revised ), 2004 for the Forest Range Officers notified vide Gazette notification No. G.S.R. 466 (E) , dated 22-7-2004, have been made .

(ii ) Candidate sponsored by a Foreign country
Rule 9 -a Minimum standards for height and chest girth for a candidate of category ( i ) of Rule 4 , shall be as under:

The following minimum height standards may be allowed in case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribes and races such as Assamese , Bhutanese , Garhwalis , Gorkhas , Kumaonis , Ladakhese , Mizo , Naga, Nepalese, Sikkimese and those from Arunachal Pradesh , Lahual and Spiti and Meghalaya .

2. This will come in force with immediate effect .
