का.आ. 62 ( अ. ) केन्द्रीय सरकार ने , राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग अधिनियम, 1956 (1956 का 48) (जिसे इसमें इसके पश्चात् उक्त अधिनियम कहा गया है) की धारा उक की उपधारा (1 ) के अधीन जारी की गई भारत सरकार के पोत परिवहन , सड़क परिवहन और राजमार्ग मंत्रालय ( सड़क परिवहन और राजमार्ग विभाग) की अधिसूचना सं. का.आ. 78 (अ) तारीख 24 जनवरी, 2005 ( जिसे इसमें इसके पश्चात उक्त अधिसूचना कहा गया है) , जो भारत के राजपत्र, असाधारण , भाग 2, खण्ड 3 , उपखंड (ii) में प्रकाशित की गई थी और जिसे उक्त अधिनियम की धारा उक की उपधारा (1 ) के अधीन जारी की गई अधिसूचना संख्या का.आ. 700 (अ) तारीख 20 मई, 2005 द्वारा इसमें संशोधित किया गया था (जिसे इसमें इसके पश्चात् संशोधित अधिसूचना कहा गया है) , जो भारत के राजपत्र, असाधारण , भाग 2 , खण्ड 3 , उपखण्ड ( ii) में प्रकाशित की गई थी, द्वारा तमिलनाडु राज्य में वेल्लोर जिले में वेल्लोर तालुक में राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग सं. 46 के 98/058.5 कि.मी. से 127/450 कि.मी. तक (कृष्णागिरि- रानीपेट सेक्शन) का निर्माण करने (चार लेन का बनाने ) के लोक प्रयोजन के लिए उस अधिसूचना से उपाबद्ध अनुसूची में विनिर्दिष्ट भूमि का अर्जन करने के अपने आशय की घोषणा की थी ;
और, उक्त अधिसूचना का सार "दि हिन्दू" और "दिना थाँथी " दोनों में तारीख 17 अप्रैल, 2005 को प्रकाशित किया गया था ;
और, सक्षम प्राधिकारी को उक्त भूमि में हितबद्ध किसी भी व्यक्ति से कोई आक्षेप प्राप्त नहीं हुआ है ;
और सक्षम प्राधिकारी ने उक्त अधिनियम की धारा उघ की उपधारा (1 ) के अनुसरण में केन्द्रीय सरकार को अपनी रिपोर्ट देंदी है ;

अतः अब, केन्द्रीय सरकार, सक्षम प्राधिकारी की उक्त रिपोर्ट के प्राप्त हो जाने पर और उक्त अधिनियम की धारा उघ की उपधारा (1 ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए , यह घोषणा करती है कि संलग्न अनुसूची में विनिर्दिष्ट भूमि का पूर्वोक्त प्रयोजन के लिए अर्जन किया जाना चाहिए ;
और अब , केन्द्रीय सरकार, उक्त अधिनियम की धारा उघ की उपधारा (2) के अनुसरण में यह घोषणा करती है कि इस अधिसूचना के राजपत्र में प्रकाशन पर, इसके साथ संलग्न अनुसूची में विनिर्दिष्ट भूमि सभी विल्लंगमों से मुक्त आत्यन्तिक रूप से केन्द्रीय सरकार में निहित हो जाएगी ।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 20th January, 2006
S.O. 62 (E) .- Whereas by the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Shipping , Road Transport and Highways ( Department of Road Transport and Highways) , number S.O.78 ( E ) , dated the 24th January , 2005, published in the Gazette of India , Extraordinary, Part II , Section 3 , Sub-section ( ii ) ( hereinafter referred to as the said notification ) and issued under sub-section ( 1 ) of section 3A of the National Highways Act , 1956 (48 of 1956) ( hereinafter referred to as the said Act) , and amended by notification number S.O.700 ( E ) , dated the 20th May , 2005 , published in the Gazette of India , Extraordinary, Part II , Section 3 , Sub- section ( ii ) ( hereinafter referred to as amended notification ) and issued under sub- section ( 1 ) of section 3A of the said Act , the Central Government declared its intention to acquire the land specified in the Schedule 3

appended to the said notification for the public purpose of building ( four -laning ) of the National Highway No.46 ( Krishnagiri - Ranipet section) on the stretch from Km.98/058.5 to Km . 127/450 in Vellore Taluk, District Vellore in the State of Tamil Nadu .
And whereas , the substance of the said notification has been published in "The Hindu " and " Dina Thanthi " , both dated the 17th April , 2005;
And whereas , no objection has been received from any person interested in the said land by the competent authority;
And whereas , in pursuance of sub - section ( 1 ) of section 3D of the said Act , the competent authority has submitted its report to the Central Government;
Now, therefore, upon receipt of the said report of the competent authority and in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section ( 1 ) of section 3D of the said Act , the Central Government hereby declares that the land specified in the Schedule annexed hereto should be acquired for the aforesaid purpose;
And further , in pursuance of sub-section ( 2) of section 3D of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that , on the publication of this notification in the Official Gazette, the land specified in Schedule annexed hereto shall vest absolutely in the Central Government free from all encumbrances .
