सा.का.नि. 32( अ ). सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी अधिनियम, 2000 (2000 का 21 ) की धारा 87 द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, केन्द्र सरकार, सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी ( प्रमाणन प्राधिकारी ) नियम, 2000 में एतद्वारा निम्नलिखित संशोधन करती है , अर्थात्:-
G.S.R. 32 (E) .-In exercise ofthe powers conferred bySection 87 of the Information Technology Act, 2000 (21 of 2000) , the Central Government hereby makes the following amendments in the Information Technology (Certifying Authorities) Rules, 2000 , namely, :-
1. ( 1 ) इन नियमों को सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी (प्रमाणन प्राधिकारी ) (संशोधन) नियम, 2005 कहा जाएगा ।
1. (1 ) These rules may be called the Information Technology (Certifying Authorities) (Amendment) Rules , 2005.
(2) ये सरकारी राजपत्र में प्रकाशित होने की तिथि से लागू
होंगे।
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी (प्रमाणन प्राधिकारी ) नियम , 2000 के नियम 31 , उप - नियम ( 2 ) के लिए निम्नलिखित प्रतिस्थापित किया जाएगा, अर्थात्: -
2. In the Information Technology ( Certifying Authorities) Rules , 2000 , in rule 31 , for sub -rule (2), the following shall be substituted , namely :-
"(2) प्रमाणन प्राधिकारी सुरक्षा नीति, वास्तविक सुरक्षा, इसके प्रचालनों की आयोजना तथा भण्डार की अर्द्धवार्षिक आंतरिक जांच करेगा ।"
" (2) The Certifying Authority shall conduct half yearly internal audit of the security policy, physical security, planning of its operations and the repository."

टिप्पणी: मूल नियम सं. सा.का. निं. 789( अ ) दिनांक 17 अक्तूबर, 2000 के जरिए प्रकाशित किए गए थे तथा अंतिम बार सं. सा.का.नि. 245 ( अ) दिनांक 21 अप्रैल , 2005 के जरिए संशोधन किया गया था ।
Note : The Principal rules were published vide number G.S.R. 789(E) , dated the 17th October, 2000 and was last amended vide nmumber G.S.R. 245 (E) , dated the 21stApril, 2005:
