नई दिल्ली, 6 फरवरी , 2006
का. आ. 160( अ ).-पशुधन आयात अधिनियम, 1898 ( 1898 का 9 ) के खंड 3 के उप- खंड ( 1 ) और खंड 3 ए के द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग कराते हुए केन्द्र सरकार हाइली पैथोजोनिक एवियन एंफ्लूएंजा के प्रकोप को दृष्टिगत रखते हुए इस अधिसूचना के प्रकाशन को तारीख से एतद्द्वारा सभी देशों से भारत में निम्नलिखित पशुधन तथा पशुधन उत्पादों के आयात को प्रतिबंधित करती है, नामतः :
( i ) केप्टिव पक्षियर्यो सहित घरेलू तथा जंगली पक्षी ( कुक्कुट को छोड़कर);
( ii ) जंगली पक्षियों सहित एवियन प्रजातियों से अप्रसंस्करित माँस एवं माँस उत्पाद ( कुक्कुट को छोड़कर ) ;
( iii ) घरेलू एवं जंगली पक्षियों का वीर्य ।
इसके अलावा , उक्तअधिनियम के खंड 3 के उप- खण्ड ( 1 ) तथा खण्ड ३ ए के द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए केन्द्र सरकार एतद्वारा हाइली पैथोजेनिक एवियन एंफ्लूएंजा ( फाउल प्लेग ) के प्रकोप से प्रभावित देशों से भारत में निम्नलिखित पशुधन एवं पशुधन उत्पादों के आयात पर भी प्रतिबंध लगाती है , नामतः:-
(i ) जीवित कुक्कुट;
( ii ) एक दिन के चूजे , बत्तख, टर्की और अन्य नवजात चूजा प्रजातियां;
( iii ) जंगली पक्षियों सहित एवियन प्रजातियों का माँस एवं माँस उत्पाद;
( iv) हैचिंग अण्डे;
(v) अण्डा तथा अण्डा उत्पाद;
(vi) पंख;
(vii ) जीवित सूअर तथा सूअर माँस उत्पाद;
(viii ) पैथोलोजिकल सामग्री और पक्षियों से जैविकीय उत्पाद;
( ix) पशु खाद्य या कृषि या औद्योगिक प्रयोग के लिए उपयोग करने के उद्देश्य से ( पक्षियों से) पशु आधारित उत्पाद।
2. यह प्रतिबंध इस अधिसूचना के प्रकाशन की तारीख से छः माह की अवधि तक या ऐसे समय में संशोधन अथवा वापसी तक जो भी पहले हो, लागू रहेगा ।

NOTIFICATION
NewDelhi, the 6th February, 2006
S.O. 160 (E) . In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section (1 ) of Section 3 and Section 3 A of the Live- stock Importation Act , 1898 (9 of 1898) , the Central Government hereby prohibits , with effect from date ofpublication of this notification, the import into India from all countries in view of the reported outbreak of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (Fowl Plague) , the following livestock and livestock products , namely:
(i) domestic and wild birds including the captive birds ( excluding poultry);
(ii) unprocessed meat and meat products from Avian species including wild birds ( except poultry ) ;
(iii) semen of domestic and wildbirds.
Further, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section ( 1 ) of Section 3 and Section 3A of the said Act , the Central Government hereby prohibits also the import into India from the countries reporting the outbreak of Highly PathogenicAvian Influenza (Fowl Plague ), the following livestock and livestock products , namely :
(i) Live poultry;
(ii) day old chicks, ducks , turkey and other newly hatched avian species ;
(iii) meat and meat products from Avian species including wild birds ;
(iv) hatching eggs ;
(v) eggs and egg products;
(vi ) feathers;
(vii). live pig and pig meat products ;
(viii ) pathological material and biological products from birds;
(ix) Productofanimal origin ( from birds) intended for use in animal feeding or for agricultural or industrial use .
2. The prohibition shall be in force for a period of six months from the date of publication of this notification or till such time it ismodified or withdrawn, whichever is earlier.
