सं. 3943.- बैंककारी कम्पनी ( उपक्रमों का अर्जन और अंतरण ) अधिनियम , 1980 ( 1980 का 40 ) की धारा 12 की उप- धारा ( 2 ) के साथ पठित धारा 19 द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, ओरियन्टल बैंक ऑफ कॉमर्स का निदेशक मण्डल भारतीय रिज़र्व बैंक केपरामर्श और केन्द्र सरकार की पूर्वानुमति से एतद्वारा बैंक (अधिकारी ) सेवा विनियम, 1982 में निम्नलिखित संशोधन करता है :-
1. संक्षिप्त शीर्षक और आरम्भ. ( 1 ) ये विनियम बैंक (अधिकारी ) सेवा ( संशोधन ) विनियम, 2005 कहलाएंगे ।
(2 ) ये विनियम शासकीय गजट में प्रकाशन की तिथि को
प्रवृत्त होंगे ।
2. ओरियन्टल बैंक ऑफ कॉमर्स (अधिकारी ) सेवा विनियम, 1982में विनियम 6 के उप विनियम ( 2 ) के लिए निम्नलिखित उप विनियम प्रतिस्थापित किया जाएगा :-
"(2 ) उप विनियम ( 1 ) के तहत पदों के वर्गीकरण के लिए, बैंक की प्रत्येक शाखा, बैंक के मण्डलं द्वारा अनुमोदित मानदण्डोंके अनुसार बैंक द्वारा वर्गीकृत की जाएंगी ।"

New Delhi, the 30th January, 2006
No. 3943. In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 19 read with sub- section (2 ) ofSection 12 ofthe Banking Companies ( Acquisition and Transfer of Undertakings ) Act, 1980 (40 of 1980) , the Board of Directors ofOriental Bank of Commerce in Consultation with the Reserve Bank of India and with the previous sanction of the Central Government , hereby makes the following amendments to the Bank (Officers ' ) Service Regulations , 1982, namely:
1. Short Title and Commencement .-( 1) These regulations may be called the Bank (Officers's Service (Amendment) Regulations , 2005.
(2) These regulations shall come into force on the date oftheir publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Oriental Bank of Commerce (Officers ' ) Service Regulations , 1982, for sub - regulation (2 ) of regulation 6 , the following sub -regulation shall be substituted , namely :-
" (2) For the purpose of categorisation of posts under Sub - regulation ( 1 ) , every branch

ofthe Bank shall be classified by the bank, in accordance with the criteria to be approvedby the Board of the Bank" .
