का.आ. 199(अ).- गर्भधारण-पूर्व और प्रसव पूर्व निदान तकनीक (लिंग चयन निरोध) अधिनियम, 1994 की धारा 8 के साथ पठित धारा 7 द्वारा प्रदत अधिकार का प्रयोग करते हुए केन्द्रीय सरकार एतदद्वारा भारत सरकार के स्वास्थ्य और परिवार कल्याण मंत्रालय (परिवार कल्याण विभाग) के दिनांक 5.2.1997 की अधिसूचना में आगे निम्नलिखित संशोधन करती है, अर्थात: -
उपरोक्त अधिसूचना में क्रम संख्या 19 और उससे संबंधित प्रतिष्टि में निम्नलिखित क्रम सं. और प्रविष्टिबदली जाएगी, अर्थात: -

S.O. 199 (E). In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 7 read with Section 8 of the Pre- conception and Pre -national . Diagnostic Techniques ' (Prohibition of Sex Selection ) Act, 1994 , the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India, in the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare ( Department of Family Welfare ) , No. S.O. 85 ( E ) dated the 5th February , 1997 , namely: -
In the said notification , for serial number 19 and the entry relating thereto, the following serial number and entry shall be substituted , namely : -
