S.O. 204 (E) -Whereas the Central Government in exercise of the powers conferred by Sub - section ( 1) of Section 3 of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, 1967 (37 of 1967) , declared the Students Islamic Movement of India (SIMI ) as an Unlawful Association ;
का.आ. 204(अ). केन्द्रीय सरकार ने , विधि-विरुद्ध क्रियाकलाप ( निवारण ) अधिनियम, 1967 ( 1967 का 37 ) की धारा 3 की उप - धारा ( 1 ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, स्टूडेंट्स इस्लामिक मूवमेंट ऑफ इंडिया ( सिमी ) को विधि-विरुद्ध संगम घोषित किया है ;
And whereas , the said declaration has been published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary , Part - II , Section 3 , Sub -section ( ii) , dated the 8th February, 2006 vide Number S.O. 191 (E) , dated the 8th February, 2006;
और उक्त घोषणा भारत के राजपत्र, असाधारण, भाग II , खंड 3 , उप- खंड ( ii ) , तारीख 8-2-2006 में सं. का.आ. 191 ( अ) , तारीख 8-2-2006 द्वारा प्रकाशित की गई है;
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 42 of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, 1967 as amended by the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Amendment Act, 2004 the Central Government hereby directs thatallthe powers which are exercisable by it under Sections 7 and 8 of the said Act, shall be exercised also by the State Governments and the Union Territory Administrations in relation to the aforesaid Unlawful Organisation.
अतः , अब, केन्द्रीय सरकार, विधि- विरुद्ध क्रियाकलाप (निवारण ) संशोधन अधिनियम, 2004 द्वारा यथासंशोधित विधि- विरुद्ध क्रियाकलाप (निवारण ) अधिनियम , 1967 की धारा 42 द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, यह निदेश देती है कि पूर्वोक्त विधि- विरुद्ध संगठन के संबंध में उक्त अधिनियम की धारा 7 और धारा 8 के अधीन उसके द्वारा प्रयोक्तव्य सभी शक्तियां राज्य सरकारों और संघ राज्य क्षेत्र प्रशासनों द्वारा भी प्रयोग की जाएंगी ।
