का.आ. 214(अ) .- भारतीय चिकित्सा केन्द्रीय परिषद् ( निर्वाचन ) नियमावली, 1975 के नियम 23 के साथ पठित भारतीय चिकित्सा केन्द्रीय परिषद् अधिनियम, 1970 ( 1970 का 48 ) की धारा 3 की उप - धारा ( 1 ) के खण्ड ( ख ) के अनुसरण में, राजीव गांधी यूनिवर्सिटी ऑफ हैल्थसाइंस, बंगलौर, कर्नाटक की प्रत्येक आयुर्वेद और यूनानी चिकित्सा पद्धति से एक - एक सदस्य उक्त विश्वविद्यालयों के आयुर्वेद और यूनानी संकाय के सदस्यों द्वारा अपने बीच से निर्वाचित किए गए हैं ;
अतः , अब, उक्त अधिनियम की धारा 3 की उप- धारा ( 1 ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, केन्द्र सरकार अब स्वास्थ्य और परिवार कल्याण मंत्रालय में भारत सरकार के दिनांक 21 अगस्त, 1971 कीअधिसूचना संख्या का. आ. 3259( अ ) में निम्नांकित और संशोधन करती है: - उक्त अधिसूचना में, धारा 3 की उप- धारा ( 1 ) के खण्ड ( ख ) में निर्वाचित शीर्ष के नीचे , सारणी में, निम्नलिखित विश्वविद्यालयों के सामने उनसे संबंधित प्रविष्टियों के स्थान पर निम्नलिखित प्रविष्टियां रखी जाएंगी, अर्थात्:-

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 16th February , 2006
S.O. 214( E ) .- Whereas in pursuance of clause ( b) of Sub- section ( 1 ) of Section 3 of The Indian Medicine Central Council Act, 1970 (48 of 1970 ) read with the rule 23 of the Indian Medicine Central Council (Election ) Rules , 1975 , one member each from Ayurveda and Unani system of Medicines of Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences , Bangalore, Karnataka have been elected from amongst themselves by the members of Ayurveda and Unani faculty of the said Univertisy;
Now, therefore , in exercise of the powers conferred by Sub - section ( 1 ) of Section 3 of the said Act , the Central Government makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India , in the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare , number S.O. 3259 ( E ) , dated the 21st August, 1971 , namely :
In the said notification , under the heading Elected under clause (b ) of Sub - section ( 1 ) of Section 3, in the Table, against the following University , for the entries relating thereto , the following entries shall be substituted , namely :----
