सं.आरएस. 18 ( i )/2005- सी.ई. राज्य सभा के सभापति द्वारा लोक प्रतिनिधित्व अधिनियम, 1951 ( 1951 का 43 ) की धारा 75क की उप- धारा ( 3 ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए राज्य सभा सदस्य ( आस्तियों तथा देयताओं की घोषणा) नियम, 2004 में किए गए निम्नलिखित संशोधनों को, जो 17 फरवरी, 2006 से प्रभावी हो गए हैं, एतद्वारा जनसाधारण की सूचना के लिए प्रकाशित किया जाता है:-

(आस्तियों तथा देयताओं की घोषणा )
(संशोधन) नियम, 2005
राज्य सभा के सभापति लोक प्रतिनिधित्व अधिनियम, 1951 ( 1951 का 43 ) की धारा 75क की उप- धारा (3 ) द्वारा प्रदद्ध शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए राज्य सभा सदस्य (आस्तियों तथा देयताओं की घोषणा ) नियम , 2004 का संशोधन करने के लिए एतद्वारा निम्नलिखित नियम बनाते हैं, अर्थात्:-
1. (i ) इन नियमों का नाम राज्य सभा सदस्य ( आस्तियों तथा देयताओं की घोषणा ) ( संशोधन ) नियम, 2005 है ।
( ii ) ये सरकारी राजपत्र में प्रकाशन की तारीख से प्रवृत्त होंगे ।
2. राज्य सभा सदस्य ( आस्तियों तथा देयताओं की घोषणा ) नियम, 2004 के नियम 3 में, उप- नियम ( 2 ) के स्थान पर निम्नलिखित उप -नियम प्रतिस्थापित किया जाएगा, अर्थात्:-
" ( 2 ) प्रत्येक सदस्य, उप- नियम ( 1 ) के अधीन उसके द्वारा प्रस्तुत सूचना में प्रतिवर्ष 31 मार्च की स्थिति के अनुसार परिवर्तनों, यदि कोई हों, को उस वर्ष 30 जून तक अधिसूचित करेगा " ।

The following amendments to the Members of Rajya Sabha (Declaration of Assets and Liabilities ) Rules , 2004, made by the Chairman , Rajya Sabha in exercise of the powers conferred by Sub- section (3 ) of Section 75A ofthe Representation of the People Act, 1951 (43 of 1951 ) which came into force on the 17th February, 2006 are hereby published for general information:-

(DECLARATION OF ASSETS AND LIABILITIES)
(AMENDMENT) RULES, 2005
In exercise of the powers conferred by Sub- section (3) of Section 75A of the Representation of the People Act, 1951 (43 of 1951 ) , the Chairman of the Council ofStates (Rajya Sabha) hereby , makes the following rules to amend the Members of Rajya Sabha (Declaration of Assets and Liabilities ) Rules, 2004, namely :-
1. (1) These Rules may be called the Members of Rajya Sabha (Declaration of Assets and Liabilities ) (Amendment) Rules,2005 .
(ii) They shall come into force on the date oftheir publication in the Official Gazette.
2. Inthe Members of Rajya Sabha (Declaration of Assets and Liabilities ) Rules , 2004, in rule 3 , for sub- rule (2), the following sub-rule shallbe substituted, namely :-
"(2). Every member shall notify changes , if any, in the information so furnished by him under sub -rule ( 1 ) as on the 31st day of March every year, by the 30th June of that year".
