सं. 1/2006.-युनाइटेड बैंक ऑफ इंडिया का निदेशक मंडल , बैंककारी कम्पनी ( उपक्रम का अर्जन और अंतरण ) अधिनियम, 1970 (1970का 5 ) की धारा 12 की उप- धारा ( 2 ) के साथ पठित धारा 19 द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, भारतीय रिज़र्व बैंक से परामर्श करके और केन्द्र सरकार की पूर्व संस्वीकृति से, युनाइटेड बैंक ऑफ इंडिया ( अधिकारी ) सेवा विनियम, 1979 में निम्नलिखित संशोधन करता है जो इस प्रकार है :-
1. संक्षिप्त नाम और प्रारंभ.-( 1 ) इन विनियमों का नाम युनाइटेड बैंक ऑफ इंडिया ( अधिकारी ) सेवा ( संशोधन ) विनियम, 2006 है ।
(2) ये विनियम सरकारी राजपत्र में उनके प्रकाशन की तिथि को प्रभावी होंगे ।
2. युनाइटेड बैंक ऑफ इंडिया ( अधिकारी ) सेवा विनियम, 1979 में, विनियम 6 के उप विनियम ( 2 ) के स्थान पर निम्नलिखित होगा, जो इस प्रकार है :-
" (2) उप विनियम ( 1 ) के अंतर्गत पदों को श्रेणीबद्ध करने के उद्देश्य से, प्रत्येक शाखा का वर्गीकरण बैंक द्वारा , बैंक के निदेशक मण्डल द्वारा अनुमोदित मानदण्ड के अनुसार किया जाएगा । "

NOTIFICATION
Kolkata, the 17th January, 2006
No. 1/2006. In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 19 read with Sub- section (2) of Section 12 of the Banking Companies ( Acquisition and Transfer of Undertakings) Act , 1970 ( 5 of 1970) , the Board of Directors of United Bank of India in consultation with the Reserve Bank of India and with the previous sanction of the Central Government, herebymakes the following amendments to the United Bank of India (Officers ' ) Service Regulations , 1979 namely :---
1. Short title and commencement.-( 1 ) These regulations may be called the United Bank of India (Officers ' ) Service (Amendment) Regulations, 2006.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette .
2. In the United Bank of India (Officers' ) Service Regulations, 1979 , for sub- regulation (2 ) of regulation 6 , the following sub-regulation shall be substituted, namely : --
"(2) For the purpose of categorisation of posts under sub - regulation ( 1 ) , every branch of the Bank shall be classifiedby the Bank , in accordance with the criteria to be approved by the Board of the Bank . "
