सा.का.नि. 72(अ) चाय बोर्ड (सरकार द्वारा नियुक्त अधिकारियों की भर्ती तथा सेवा की शर्तें) नियम, 1971 में निम्नलिखित संशोधन, जिन्हें केन्द्र सरकार चाय अधिनियम 1953 (1953 का 29) की धारा 49 की उप धारा (2 ) के खण्ड (घ) के साथ पठित उक्त अधिनियम की धारा 49 की उप धारा (1 ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए करने का प्रस्ताव करती है, का मसौदा उक्त अधिनियम की उक्त धारा 49 की उप धारा (1 ) की अपेक्षानुसार उन सभी व्यक्तियों जिनके इससे प्रभावित होने की संभावना है, की सूचना के लिए एतद्वारा प्रकाशित किए जाते हैं और एतद्वारा यह सूचना दी जाती है कि उक्त मसौदे पर उस तारीख से पैंतालीस दिन की समापति पर या उसके पश्चात् विचार किया जाएगा जिस तारीख को इस अधिसूचना वाले भारत के राजपत्र की प्रतियाँ जनता को उपलब्ध कराई जाएंगी ।
2. इस प्रकार विनिर्दिष्ट अवधि की समाप्ति से पूर्व उक्त मसौदा नियमों के संबंध में किसी व्यक्ति से प्राप्त होने वाली किन्हीं आपत्तियों या सुझावों पर केन्द्र सरकार द्वारा विचार किया जाएगा ।
3. आपत्तियाँ या सुझाव , यदि कोई हों, सचिव, वाणिज्य विभाग , वाणिज्य एवं उद्योग मंत्रालय, उद्योग भवन, नई दिल्ली को प्रेषित किए जाएं ।
मसौदा नियम
1. (1) इन नियमों को चाय बोर्ड (सरकार द्वारा नियुक्त अधिकारियों की भर्ती एवं सेवा की शर्तें) संशोधन नियम, 2006 कहा जाएगा ।
(2) ये नियम सरकारी राजपत्र में अंतिम प्रकाशन की तारीख को प्रवृत्त होंगे ।

2. चाय बोर्ड (सरकार द्वारा नियुक्त अधिकारियों की भर्ती एवं सेवा की शर्तें) 1971 की अनुसूची में उपाध्यक्ष के पद से संबंधित क्रम सं ० 1 के सामनेः
(i) कॉलम 4 में उल्लिखित प्रविष्टि के लिए निम्नलिखित प्रविष्टियों अर्थातः- 14,300-18,300 रूपये ' की प्रतिस्थापित किया जाएगा;
(ii) कॉलम 10 में उल्लिखित प्रविष्टि के लिए निम्नलिखित प्रविष्टि को प्रतिस्थापित किया जाएगा, अर्थातः-"4 वर्ष जिसे 1 वर्ष तक बढ़ाया जा सकता है ' ।
(iii) कॉलम 11 में उल्लिखित प्रविष्टि के लिए निम्नलिखित प्रविष्टि को प्रतिस्थापित किया जाएगा:-
" 1. सचिव, वाणिज्य विभाग
2. अपर सचिव, वाणिज्य विभाग
3. संयुक्त सचिव, वाणिज्य विभाग
4. अध्यक्ष, चाय बोर्ड "

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 20th February, 2006
G.S.R. 72(E) . The following draft amendment of the Tea Board (Recruitment and Conditions of Service of Officers appointed by Government) Rules , 1971 , which the Central Government proposes to make in exercise of the powers conferred by sub- section ( 1 ) of section 49 of the Tea Act , 1953 (29 of 1953 ) , read with clause (d) of sub - section (2) of section 49 of the said Act , is hereby published as required by sub - section ( 1 ) of the said section 49 of the said Act , for the information of all persons likely to be affected thereby , and notice is hereby given that the said draft shall be taken into consideration on or after the expiry of a period of forty - five days from the date on which the copies of the Gazette of India containing this notification is made available to the public.

2. Any objections or suggestions which may be received from any person with respect to the said draft rules before expiry of the period so specified , shall be considered by the Central Government.
3. Objections or suggestions , if any , may be addressed to the Secretary , Department of Commerce , Ministry of Commerce and Industry , Udyog Bhawan , New Delhi .
DRAFT RULES
1. ( 1 ) These Rules may be called the Tea Board (Recruitment and Conditions of Service of Officers appointed by Government ) Amendment Rules , 2006.
(2) They shall come into force on their final publication in the Official Gazette .
2. In the Tea Board ( Recruitment and Conditions of Service of Officers appointed by Government) Rules , 1971 , in the Schedule , against serial No.1 relating to the post of Deputy Chairman-
(i) in column 4 , for the entry , the following entries shall be substituted , namely: - "Rs.14, 300-400-18 , 300" ;
(ii) in column 10 , for the entry , the following entry shall be substituted , namely : -" 4 years which may be extended by one year" ;
(iii) in column 11 , for the entries , the following entry shall be substituted , namely: -
" 1. Secretary, Department of Commerce .
2. Additional Secretary , Department of Commerce .
3. Joint Secretary , Department of Commerce .
4. Chairman , Tea Board . "
