सं० जैड-20025 / 18 /2005-प्रशा० 1 : केन्द्र सरकार, सूचना का अधिकार अधिनियम 2005 ( 2005 की संख्या-22 ) की धारा 2 ( ग ) के साथ पठित खंड 5( 1 ) के अंतर्गत प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, श्रम और रोजगार मंत्रालय में निदेशक श्री शाहिद मीजान को श्रम और रोजगार मंत्रालय ( मुख्यालय ) में " लोक प्राधिकारी " के संबंध में केन्द्रीय लोक सूचना अधिकारी के रूप में नामोदिष्ट करती है ।
श्रीशाहिद मीजान अपने कर्तव्यों और उत्तरदायित्वों के अलावा , उक्त अधिनियम के प्रयोजनों के निर्वाहन के लिए केन्द्रीय लोक सूचना अधिकारी और सहायक केन्द्रीय लोक सूचना अधिकारियों को नामोदिष्ट करने के संबंध में श्रम और रोजगार मंत्रालय के अंतर्गत लोक प्राधिकारियों द्वारा की जाने वाली कार्रवाई का समन्वय भी करेंगे और अन्य मंत्रालयों के साथ परस्पर संवाद करने के लिए श्रम और रोजगार मंत्रालय के संबंध में उक्त अधिनियम के प्रयोजनों के लिए नोडल अधिकारी होंगे ।
श्रम और रोजगार मंत्रालय में संयुक्त सचिव, भारत सरकार श्री के० चन्द्रमौलि उक्त अधिनियम की धारा 19 ( 1 ) के प्रयोजन के लिए वरिष्ठ अधिकारी बने रहेंगे ।

NOTIFICATION
No. Z- 20025/18/2005 -Adm . I : In exercise of powers conferred under section 5 ( 1 ) read with section 2 (c) ofthe Right to Information Act 2005 (No. 22 of 2005 ), the Central Government in the Ministry ofLabour & Employment designate Shri Shahid Meezan , Director, Ministry of Labour &Employment as Central Public Information Officer in respect of the ' public authority ' namely, theMinistry of Labour & Employment (Head Quarters ) .
In addition to his duties and responsibilities to carry out the purposes of the said Act, Shri Shahid Meezan will also coordinate all action taken up by public authorities under the Ministry ofLabour & Employment regarding designating the Central Public Information Officer and the Asstt . Central Public Information Officers for carrying out the purposes of the said Act and shall be the nodal officer for the purposes of the said Act in respect of Ministry of Labour & Employment to interact with other Ministries .
Shri K. Chandramouli , Joint Secretary to the Government of India in the Ministry of Labour & Employment shall continue to be the senior officer for the purpose of section 19 ( 1 ) of the said Act .
