अधिसूचना
1.9 ( अ ) जिस कर्मचारी ने इन विनियमों की अधिसूचना के जारी होने की तिथि से पहले विश्वविद्यालय की नौकरी शुरू की होगी , उसे चुनने की स्वतंत्रता होगी-

(i) से ( ii ) XXX XXX XXX
भारत सरकार ( मानव संसाधन एवं विकास मंत्रालय, शिक्षा विभाग ) ने अपने पत्रांक फा.सं. 2-7/2000-Uयू.- II दिनांक 16-02-2006 के द्वारा निम्नलिखित विनियमों को अनुमोदित कर दिया है :
(आ) ( i ) यदिकोई कर्मचारी ऊपर दी गई उपधारा ( अ ) ( ii ) कोचुनता है, उसके मामले में 24-10-2005 की तिथि तक या उसकी सेवानिवृत्ति की तिथि तक, जो भी पहली पड़ती हो, की अंशदायी भविष्य निधिका विश्वविद्यालय के द्वारा प्रदत्त भाग तथा उस पर अर्जित ब्याज , विश्वविद्यालय के पेंशन फंड ( कॉपर्स ) में डाल दिया जाएंगा ।
पंजाब विश्वविद्यालय- कर्मचारी ( पेंशन ) विनियम, 1991 , 24-10-2005 से प्रभावी पंजाब विश्वविद्यालय की नियमावली खंड 1 , 2005 के पृष्ठ 180-181 पर दिए गए पंजाब विश्वविद्यालय - कर्मचारी (पेंशन) विनियम, 1991 जो 24-10-2005 से प्रभावी होगा से संबंधित विनिमय संख्या 1.1 , 1.2 ( ए) , 1.2( बी ) ( i ) , 1.6 , 1.9 ( b ) ( i ) , ( ii) और 1.9 ( इ) में संशोधन और विलोपन
( ii ) अंशदायी भविष्यनिधि में से कर्मचारी का अपना भाग 24-10-2005 तक का उसके सामान्य भविष्यनिधि खाते में डाल दिया जाएगा जिसमें उसे समय- समय पर विश्वविद्यालय के द्वारा लागू किए जाने वाले नियमों के अधीन अनिवार्य रूप से अंशदान करना होगा ।
(इ) और (ई) XXX XXX XXX 1.1 पंजाब विश्वविद्यालय ऐक्ट, 1947 की धारा 31 (2 ) (ई ) (जो समय -समय पर संशोधित होती रही है ) को पंजाब विश्वविद्यालय कर्मचारी ( पेंशन ) ऐक्ट, 1991 कहा जाएगा ।
1.2 इस विनियम के प्रावधान उन व्यक्तियों पर लागू होंगे-
(अ) जिन कर्मचारियों ने 1-1-2004 के पहले विश्वविद्यालय कीनौकरी शुरू की हो ।
(आ) ( i ) जिन कर्मचारियों ने इन विनियमों की अधिसूचना के जारी होने की तिथि से पहले विश्वविद्यालय की नौकरी शुरू की हो; (विलोपित कर दिया गया ) तथा
(ii) XXX XXX XXX
(3) जो कर्मचारी 24-10-2005 के पहले ही सेवानिवृत्त हो गए हों, यदि वे चाहें तो वे इन पेंशन विनियमों को अपने ऊपर लागू करा सकते हैं बशर्ते वे भविष्यनिधि में से विश्वविद्यालय के द्वारा दिया गया ब्याज सहित वह अंश पेंशन फंड ( कॉपर्स ) में डालने के लिए वापिस कर दें, जिसे उन्होंने विश्वविद्यालय से लिया है । विश्वविद्यालय अंशदायी भविष्यनिधि के उस अंश पर, सेवानिवृत्ति की तिथि से लेकर पेंशन योजना में सम्मिलित होने की तिथि तक की अवधि का, न तो कोई ब्याज लेगी और न कोई पेंशन की पूर्वदेय धनराशि ( ऐरियर ) देगी । कर्मचारियों को उसी विधि से पेंशन का भुगतान किया जाएगा, जिस तिथि से वे ब्याज- सहित भविष्यनिधि के उस अंश को जमा कर देंगे , जो विश्वविद्यालय का अंश है ।

[विज्ञापन/III/IV/72/05-असाधारण ] 1.6 जब तक कि विनियमों में इसके विपरीत प्रावधान न हो, तब तककिसी भी कर्मचारी के पेंशन का दावा उसी विनियम के अधीन तय होगा, जो उसकी सेवानिवृत्ति या उसके नौकरी छोड़ने के समय प्रभावी होगा । इस विनिमयम में बाद में होने वाला कोई भी संशोधन उस पर लागू नहीं होगा । ( विलोपित कर दिया गया ) 485 G1/2006

The Central Government (Ministry of Human Resource Development, Department of Secondary & Higher Education) have accorded approval vide their letter No. F. No. 2-7/2000- U - II dated 16-2-2006 to the following Regulations:
THE PANJAB UNIVERSITY EMPLOYEES ( PENSION) REGULATIONS, 1991 EFFECTIVE FROM 24-10-2005
Amendments/deletions of Regulations 1.1 , 1.2 (a) , 1.2(b) (i), 1.6, 1.9(b) ( i), ( ii ) and 1.9 ( e) for Panjab Univer- sity Employees (Pension) , 1991 Scheme apperaing at pages 180-181 of P.U. Calendar Volume 1 , 2005 , effective from 24-10-2005 .
1.1 These Regulations which have been issued under Section 31 (2) ( e) of the Panjab University Act , 1947 (as amended from time to time), be called Panjab University Employees (Pension) Regulations , 1991 .
1.2 The provisions of these Regulations shall
applyto-
(a) all employees who joined service under the University before 1-1-2004;
(b) (i ) the employees who joined the service of theUniversity before the date of notification of these regu- lations; and

1.6 Unless otherwise provided in these Regulations , an employee's claim to pension will be regulated by the Regulations in force applicable to himat the time heretires from, or otherwise quits the service, any subsoquent amend- ment in the Regulations being not applicable in his case .

1.9(a) The employees who joined the service of the University before the date of notification of these regula- tions shall have the option-

(b) ( i) In the case of an employee who elects the alternative under sub - clause ( a) (ii ) above , the total contri- bution of the University to his C.P. Fund Account as on 24-10-2005 or the date of retirement whichever is earlier , along with interest thereon , shall be transferred from his C.P. Fund Account for being credited to the University Pension Fund ( Corpus) .
(ii) The employee's share of C.P. Fund , as on 24-10-2005 , along with interest thereon, shall be transferred to his General Provident Fund Account to which he shall subscribe compulsorily under the rules of that fund as prescribedby the University from time to time.

(c) and(d) x xx
(e) The employees who retired prior to 24-10-2005 may, if they so desire , elect to be governed by these Pension Regulations , subject to the condition that they refund the University's C.P. Fund contribution, including interest thereon , as received by them from the University for being credited to the University Pension Fund (Corpus) . The University would neither charge any interest on this amount of the University share of C.P. Fund received by a retiree for the period from the date of his retirement up to the date of his joining the Pension Scheme norwould pay any arrear of pension . The pension may be made available to the employces from the date they de- posit their University share of C.P. Fund, including inter- est thereon .
