S.O. 245 (E) . In pursuance of Section 67 of the Representation of the People Act, 1951 ( 43 of 1951 ) , the following declaration containing the name ofthe candidate electedto fill the seat in the Council ofStates of one member , who retired on the 23rd February , 2006 on the expiration of histerm of office, is published for general information:-
का.आ. 245(अ).-लोक प्रतिनिधित्व अधिनियम, 1951 ( 1951 का 43 ) की धारा 67 के अनुसरण में, निम्नलिखित घोषणा, जिसमें राज्य सभा का एक सदस्य जो अपनी पदावधि के अवसान पर 23 फरवरी, 2006 को निवृत्त हो गया है, के स्थान को भरने के लिए निर्वाचित अभ्यर्थी का नाम अंतर्विष्ट है, सर्वसाधारण की जानकारी के लिए प्रकाशित की जाती है :-

"Inpursuance of the provisions contained in Sub- section (2) ofSection 53 of the Representation ofthe People Act, 1951 , read with sub - rule ( 1) of rule 11 of the Conduct ofElections Rules , 1961 , I declare that ---
"निर्वाचनों का संचालन नियम, 1961 के नियम 11 के उपनियम ( 1 ) के साथ पठित लोक प्रतिनिधित्व अधिनियम, 1951 की धारा 53 की उप - धारा ( 2 ) में अंतर्विष्ट उपबंधों के अनुसरण में, मैं घोषणा करता हूंकि--

NewDelhi , the 24th February, 2006 का आ. 246(अ).-लोक प्रतिनिधित्व अधिनियम, 1951 (1951का 43) की धारा 12 के अधीन जारी की गई अधिसूचना सं. का.आ. 1798 ( अ) , तारीख 21 दिसम्बर , 2005 के अनुसरण में , राज्य साभा का एक सदस्य जो अपनी पदावधि के अवसान पर 23 फरवरी , 2006 को निवृत्त हो गया है, के स्थान को भरने के प्रयोजन के लिए निर्वाचन कराया गया है;
S.O.246 ( E ) Whereas election has been held, in pursuance ofnotification number S.O. 1798 ( E) , dated the 21st December, 2005, issued under Section 12 of the Representation of the People Act, 1951 (43 of 1951 ) , for the purpose offilling the seat of one member of the Council of Stateswho retired on 23rd February, 2006, on the expiration ofhisterm ofoffice;
अता , अब, लोक प्रतिनिधित्व अधिनियम, 1951 ( 1951 का 43) की धारा 71 के अनुसरण में, सिक्किम राज्य की विधान सभा के निर्वाचित सदस्योंद्वारा निर्वाचित सदस्य का नाम सर्वसाधारण की जानकारी केलिए अधिसूचित किया जाता है :
Now, therefore, in pursuance of Section 71 of the Representation of the People Act , 1951 (43 of 1951 ) , the name ofthe member elected by the elected members ofthe Legislative Assembly of the State of Sikkim is hereby notified for general information
