निजी नियोजन आधार पर भारतीय रिजर्व बैंक को " 7.40 प्रतिशत सरकारी स्टॉक , 2035 " की बिक्री ( पुनर्निर्गम ) . फा. सं. 4( 2 )-डब्ल्यूएंड एम/2005. भारत सरकार एतद्वारा 10,000 करोड़ रुपए (नामिनल) की कुल राशि के लिए " 7.40 प्रतिशत सरकारी स्टॉक, 2035" (जिसे इसके बाद सरकारी स्टॉक कहा गया है) की बिक्री, इस अधिसूचना में उल्लिखित शर्तों तथा निबंधनों (जिसे ' विशिष्ट अधिसूचना ' कहा गया है) के साथ- साथ समय- समय पर यथासंशोधित भारत सरकार द्वारा जारी सामान्य अधिसूचना एफ संख्या 4 (9) -डब्ल्यू एंड एम/2000 दिनांक 6 मई, 2002 में निर्दिष्ट शर्तों के अधीन की जाएगी।
निवेश के लिए पात्रता
2. केवल भारतीय रिजर्व बैंक (इसके पश्चात् जिसे ' बैंक ' कहा गया है) ही सरकारी स्टॉक में अभिदान के लिए पात्र होगा ।
निर्गम की विधि
3. सरकारी स्टॉक बैंक को निजी नियोजन आधार पर जारी किया जाएगा।
निर्गम मूल्य
4. सरकारी स्टॉक 100.00 रुपए (नामिनल) के लिए 95.72 रुपए के मूल्य पर जारी किया जाएगा।
आवेदन
5. बैंक द्वारा इसके मुम्बई कार्यालय पर दिनांक 6 मार्च, 2006 को आवेदन प्रस्तुत किया जाएगा।
निर्गम की तारीख
6. सरकारी स्टॉक के निर्गम की तारीख 6 मार्च , 2006 होगी ।

स्टॉक के लिए भुगतान
7. बैंक द्वारा सरकारी स्टॉक के लिए सरकार को भुगतान दिनांक 6 मार्च, 2006 अर्थात् निर्गम की तारीख को किया जाएगा । सरकारी स्टॉक के लिए भुगतान में स्टॉक की अवधि के आरम्भ होने की तारीख अर्थात् 9 सितम्बर, 2005 से लागू हुए सरकारी स्टॉक के नामिनल मूल्य पर संचित ब्याज शामिल होगा।
अवधि
8. ये सरकारी स्टॉक 9 सितम्बर, 2005 से आरम्भ होकर तीस वर्ष की अवधि के लिए होंगे । सरकारी स्टॉक की वापसी अदायगी सममूल्य आधार पर 9 सितम्बर, 2035 को की जाएगी ।
ब्याज
9. अवधि आरम्भ होने की तारीख से सरकारी स्टॉक के अंकित मूल्य पर 7.40 प्रतिशत प्रति वर्ष की दर से व्याज उपचित होगा तथा 9 मार्च तथा 9 सितम्बर को अर्ध- वार्षिक आधार पर अदा किया जाएगा ।
सरकारी स्टॉक का अंतरण
10. उपर्युक्त पैरा 2 में दिए गए उल्लेख के बावजूद, भारतीय रिजर्व बैंक द्वारा किसी अन्य व्यक्ति, जिनमें बैंक, निगम अथवा अन्य निकाय शामिल हैं, को सरकारी स्टॉक का अंतरण किए जाने पर कोई प्रतिबंध नहीं होगा तथा ऐसी प्रतिभूति के अंतरिती को इसे धारण करने तथा इसी प्रकार अंतरण करने का अधिकार होगा ।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 6th March, 2006
Sale (Re - issue ) of " 7.40 per cent Government Stock, 2035 " to Reserve Bank of India on private placement basis F. No. 4(2 )-W&M/2005.-Government of India hereby notifies sale of " 7.40 per cent Government Stock, 2035 "( hereinafter referred to as ' Government Stock ' ) for an aggregate amount of Rs . 10,000 crore (nominal ) as per the terms and conditions spelt out in this notification ( called ' Specific Notification ' ) as also the terms and conditions specified in the General Notification F No.4 (9 )-W & M/2000 dated May 6, 2002 issued by Government of India as amended from time to time .
Eligibility for Investment
:
2 Only the Reserve Bank of India ( hereinafter referred to as ' the Bank ' ) shall be eligible to subscribe to the Government Stock .
Method of Issue
3 The Government Stock shall be issued on private placement basis to the Bank .
Issue Price
4 The Government Stock shall be issued at a price of Rs 95.72 for Rs 100.00 ( nominal ) .
Application
5 The application shall be submitted by the Bank at its Mumbai Office on March 6, 2006 .

Date of issue
6 The date of issue of the Government Stock shall be March 6, 2006 .
Payment for the Stock
7 The payment for the Government Stock shall be made by the Bank to the Government of India on March 6 , 2006 , i.e. , the date of issue . The payment for the Government stock shall include accrued interest on the nominal value of the Government Stock applied for from the date of commencement of tenure of the Stock, i.e. , September 9, 2005.
Tenure
8 The Government Stock shall be of thirty year tenure commencing from September 9 , 2005. The Government Stock shall be repaid at par on September 9 , 2035 .
Interest
9 Interest at the rate of 7.40 per cent per annum will accrue on the nominal value of the Government Stock from the date of commencement of tenure and will be paid half yearly on March 9 and September 9 .
Transferability of Government Stock
10 Notwithstanding what is stated in Paragraph 2 hereinabove, there will be no restriction on the transfer of the Government Stock by the Reserve bank of India in favour of any other person including banks , corporation or any other body and the transferee of such security would also be entitled to hold and transfer the same in such manner .
