सा.का.नि. 173 (अ ) .-केन्द्रीय उत्पाद शुल्क नियमावली , 2002 के नियम 3 के उप- नियम ( 1 ) के साथ पठित केन्द्रीय उत्पाद शुल्क अधिनियम, 1944 की धारा 2 के खण्ड ( ख ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, केन्द्रीय उत्पाद शुल्क एवं सीमा शुल्क बोर्ड भारत सरकार, वित्त मंत्रालय ( राजस्व विभाग ) की दिनांक 26 जून, 2001 की अधिसूचना सं. 38/2001- के.उ.शु. ( गै.टै. ) [ सा.का. नि. 467 ( अ ) , दिनांक 26 जून, 2001] की अधिसूचना में निम्नवत और संशोधन करता है, अर्थात्:-
( 1 ) उक्त अधिसूचना में, सारणी में, क्रम सं. 2 और उससे संबद्ध प्रविष्टियों के स्थान पर निम्नवत प्रतिस्थापित किया जाएगा, अर्थात्:- " 2. महानिदेशालय ( सतर्कता ) के अधिकारी अर्थात्: -
1. महानिदेशक ( सतर्कता )
1. मुख्य आयुक्त
2. अपर महानिदेशक ( सतर्कता)

G.S.R. 173 ( E) . In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (b) of Section 2 of the Central Excise Act, 1944 read with sub -rule ( 1) of rule 3 of the Central Excise Rules , 2002, the Central Board of Excise and Customs makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India, Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No. 38 / 2001-Central Excise (N.T. ) dated the 26th June , 2001 published in the Gazette of India vide number G.S.R. 467 (E ) , dated the 26th June , 2001 , namely :-
(1) In the said notification, in the TABLE , for Sl. No. 2 and the entries relating thereto , the following shall be substituted , namely : -
