सं. 26/2006-केन्द्रीय उत्पाद शुल्क
सा.का.नि. 174(अ).-केन्द्रीय सरकार केन्द्रीय उत्पाद शुल्क अधिनियम, 1944 ( 1944 का 1 ) की धारा 5 क की उप - धारा ( 1 ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, यह समाधान हो जाने पर कि ऐसा करना लोकहित में आवश्यक है , भारत सरकार के वित्त मंत्रालय ( राजस्व विभाग ) की अधिसूचना संख्या 4/2006-केन्द्रीय उत्पाद शुल्क, तारीख 1 मार्च, 2006 को भारत के राजपत्र , असाधारण में सा. का.नि. 94( अ ) का, निम्नलिखित और संशोधन करती है , अर्थात्: -
उक्त अधिसूचना में , सारणी में,
क्रम सं. 72 में, स्तम्भ ( 3 ) में, प्रविष्टि" दियासलाई, जिसके विनिर्माण में या उसके संबंध में निम्नलिखित कोई भी प्रक्रिया साधारणतया विद्युत शक्ति की सहायता से नहीं की जाती है , अर्थात्:-
(i ) फ्रेम भरण;
(ii ) दियासलाई शीर्षों के लिए मिश्रण में तीलियों का डुबोया जाना;
(iii ) दियासलाइयों के बक्सों का भरा जाना;
( iv ) दियासलाइयों बक्सों के पृष्ठावृत्त या कार्ड बोर्डों पर लेबल चिपकाना;
(v) पैकेजिंग । "
प्रतिस्थापित की जाएगी ।

टिप्पणी:- मूल अधिसूचना सं. 4/2006- केन्द्रीय उत्पाद शुल्क, तारीख 1 मार्च, 2006 [ सा.का.नि. 94 ( अ) , तारीख 1 मार्च, 2006 ] द्वारा भारत के राजपत्रं, असाधारण द्वारा प्रकाशित की गई थी, और उसमें अंतिम संशोधन अधिसूचना सं. 25/2006- केन्द्रीय उत्पाद शुल्क, तारीख 20मार्च, 2006 [ सा.का. नि. 168( अ) तारीख 20 मार्च, 2006 ] द्वारा किया गया था ।

New Delhi , the 22nd March , 2006
No. 26/ 2006 -Central Excise
G.S.R. 174( E) .-In exercise of the powers conferred by Sub -section ( 1) of Section 5A of the Central Excise Act, 1944 ( 1 of 1944) , the Central Government , being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do , hereby makes the following amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 4/2006- Central Excise, dated the 1st March , 2006 , which was published in the Gazette of India , Extraordinary vide number G.S.R. 94 (E) , dated the 1st March , 2006 , namely:-
Inthe said notification , in the Table , against S. No. 72, for the entry in column (3 ) , the entry "Matches, in or in relation to the manufacture of which none of the following processes is ordinarily carried on with the aid of power, namely (1) frame filling;
(ii) dipping of splints in the composition for match heads;
(iii) filling ofboxes with matches ;
(iv) pasting of labels on match boxes , veneers or cardboards ;
(v) packaging. "
shall be substituted.

Note : The principal notification No. 4/2006 - Central Excise , dated the 1st March , 2006, was published in the Gazette of India vide number G.S.R. 94 (E ) , dated the 1st March , 2006 , and was last amended vide notification No. 25/2006 - Central Excise, dated 20th March , 2006, published in the Gazette of India vide number G.S.R. 168 (E ) , dated the 20th March , 2006 .
