का.आ. 376( अ) . जबकि भारत सरकार और भारत स्थित रेड क्रॉस की अंतर्राष्ट्रीय समिति के बीच पत्रों के आदान-प्रदान के अनुसरण में 1999 से 2006 की और अवधिके लिए तथाकथित अंतर्राष्ट्रीय समिति के क्षेत्रीय कार्यालय को संयुक्त राष्ट्र (विशेषाधिकार और उन्मुक्तियां) अधिनियम 1947 ( 1947 का 46) की अनुसूची 3 और 18 और धारा 7 ( ख ) में निहित समान विशेषाधिकार और उन्मुक्तियां प्रदान करना आवश्यक है ।
अतः , अब, तथाकथित अधिनियम की धारा 3 द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए केन्द्र सरकार एतद्वारा यह घोषणा करती है कि अपनी दिनांक 16 जून, 1986 की अधिसूचना सं. डी 11/451/16 (2 ) /85 के द्वारा भारत में रेड क्रॉस की अंतर्राष्ट्रीय समिति के क्षेत्रीय कार्यालय पर लागू होने वाले विशेषाधिकार और उन्मुक्तियां अन्य बातों के साथ- साथ 1999 से 2006 तक की बढ़ी हुई अवधि के लिए भारत स्थित रेड क्रॉस की अंतर्राष्ट्रीय समिति के क्षेत्रीय कार्यालय पर लागूहोंगे।
यह अधिसूचना 1999 से 2006 की अवधि तक प्रभावी होगी।

New Delhi , the 17th January, 2006
S.O. 376(E) .-Whereas in pursuance of exchange of letters between the Government of India and the International Committee of the Red Cross of India, it is necessary to accord the Regional Office of the said International Committee for a further period from 1999 to 2006, Privileges and Immunities in India similar to those contained in Section 7 (b) , 8 and 18 of the Schedule to the United Nations (Privileges and Immunities) Act, 1947 (46 of1947).
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 3 ofthe said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that the Privileges and Immunities extended to the Regional Office of the International Committee of the Red Cross in India vide its Notification No. DII/451 / 16(2 )/85 dated the 16th June, 1986 shall apply, mutatis mutandis , to theRegional Office of the International Committee ofthe Red Cross ; in India and to its officers , for a further period from 1999 to2006.
This notification shall remain in force for the period from 1999 to 2006.
