No. RS . 10/2006- T.-Shri Lalit Suri , an elected Member of the Council of States ( Rajya Sabha) , representing the State of Uttar Pradesh, has expired on the 10thOctober, 2006 and consequently his seat in the Rajya Sabha has become vacant with effect from that date .
