S.O. 1460(E).-In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (I) of Section 6 of the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act, 2005 (42 of 2005), the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Rural Development, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, vide number S.O. 1(E), dated the 1st January, 2009, namely :-

l. In the said notification, in the Schedule against Sl. No. 12, for the entry in column (3), the entry "Rs. 100.00" shall be substituted.

2. The wage rate specified above shall come into effect from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette.
