सं. पीएसबी/स्टाफ/ओएसआर / 2006 /पीएसबी/स्टाफ / ओएसआर / 1982/5.-बैंककारी कंपनी ( उपक्रमों का अर्जन और अंतरण) अधिनियम , 1980 ( 1980 का 40 ) की धारा 12 की उप- धारा ( 2 ) के साथ पठित , धारा 19 द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए पंजाब एण्ड सिंध बैंक का निदेशक मंडल , भारतीय रिज़र्व बैंक से परामर्श करके तथा केन्द्र सरकार की पूर्व मंजूरी से पंजाब एण्ड सिंध बैंक (अधिकारी ) सेवा विनियम , 1982 में एतद्वारा निम्नलिखित संशोधन करता है, अर्थात्: -
1. संक्षिप्त नाम और प्रारंभ ( 1 ) ये विनियम पंजाब एण्ड सिंध बैंक ( अधिकारी ) सेवा ( संशोधन ) विनियम , 2006 कहलाएंगे ।
(2 ) ये विनियम सरकारी राजपत्र में अपने प्रकाशन की तारीख से लागू होंगे ।
2. पंजाब एण्ड सिंध बैंक ( अधिकारी ) सेवा विनियम, 1982 में, विनियम 5 में :-
(क) उप - विनियम ( 1 ) में, खंड ( ग ) के अंतर्गत , परंतुक के पश्चात् एवं टिप्पणी के पहले निम्नलिखित परंतुक जोड़ा जाएगा , अर्थात्:
" परंतु , जो अधिकारी पदोन्नति का प्रस्ताव मिलने पर उसे अस्वीकार कर देता है उसे अगले उच्चतर वेतनमान/अवरोध वेतनवृद्धि/वेतनवृद्धियों में ऐसी वेतनवृद्धि/वेतनवृद्धियाँ प्रदान नहीं की जाएंगी। "
(ख ) उप- विनियम ( 2 ) में स्पष्टीकरण के खंड ( घ ) में, टिप्पणी ( ii ) के पश्चात् निम्नलिखित टिप्पणी जोड़ी जाएगी , अर्थात्:
" ( iii ) जो अधिकारी पदोन्नति का प्रस्ताव मिलने पर उसे अस्वीकार कर देता है , वह व्यावसायिक अर्हता भुगतान, उपर्युक्त के अनुसार, का पात्र नहीं होगा । "

No. PSB / Staff/OSR/2006 /PSB / Staff/OSR/ 1982/5 .-- In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 19 read with sub -section (2) of Section 12 of the Banking Companies (Acquisition and Transfer of Undertakings ) Act, 1980 (40 of 1980), the Board of Directors of the Punjab & Sind Bank in consultation with the Reserve Bank of India and with the previous sanction ofthe Central Government hereby makes the following regulations further to amend Punjab & Sind Bank (Officers ' ) Service Regulations , 1982 , namely :--
1. ( 1) These regulations may be called Punjab & Sind Bank ( Officers ' ) Service Amendments Regulations, 2006.
(2) These regulations shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Official Gazette .
2, In the Punjab & Sind Bank ( Officers ' ) Service Regulations , 1982, in regulation 5,-
(a) in sub- regulation (1) , under clause ( c) , after the proviso and before the Note , the following proviso shall be inserted,namely:
"Provided further that such increment/s in the next higher scale/stagnation increment/ s shall not be allowed to anofficer who refuses promotion when offered. "
(b) in sub - regulation (2) in clause ( d ) of the Explanation , after Note ( ii ), the following Note shall be inserted , namely:
"( iii) An Officer shall not be eligible for Professional Qualification Pay , as above , if he refuses to accept promotion when offered . "
