S.O. 1871 (E) . Whereas , the Central Government vide notification No. S.O. 870(E), dated 29th July, 2004, hereinafter referred to as said notification appointed a Commission of Inquiry consisting of Mr. Justice R. J. Kochar, a Retired Judge of High Court , Bombay , hereinafter referred to as the Commission for making inquiry into a matter of public importance , namely , collapse of DamangangaBridge , linking Nani Daman and Moti Daman on 28thAugust, 2003.
का.आ. 1871 ( अ ).-यतः, केन्द्रीय सरकार ने , नैनी दमण और मोटी दमण को जोड़ने वाले दमण गंगा पुल के दिनांक 28 अगस्त, 2003 को टूट जाने के सार्वजनिक महत्व के मामले की जाँच करने के लिए मुम्बई उच्च न्यायालय के सेवानिवृत्त न्यायाधीश न्यायमूर्ति श्री आर. जे . कोचर की अध्यक्षता में दिनांक 29 जुलाई , 2004 की अधिसूचना सं. का.आ. 870 ( अ ) , जिसे इसमें इसके पश्चात् उक्त अधिनियम कहा गया है , के माध्यम से एक जाँच आयोग , जिसे इसमें इसके पश्चात् आयोग कहा गया है , गठित किया था ।
Whereas, the Central Government directed the Commission for submission ofthe report ofthe Commission by31st October, 2006 and the Commission in pursuance of the said notification referred above submitted its report on 16thOctober , 2006.
यतः , केन्द्रीय सरकार ने, आयोग को अपनी रिपोर्ट 31 अक्तूबर, 2006 तक प्रस्तुत करने का निदेश दिया था और आयोग ने उल्लिखित अधिसूचना के अनुसरण में अपनी रिपोर्ट 16 अक्तूबर , 2006 को प्रस्तुत कर दी है ।
और, यतः , केन्द्रीय सरकार का , यह अभिमत है कि इस आयोग की विद्यमानता को जारी रखना अनावश्यक है ।
And, whereas , the Central Government is ofthe opinion that the continued existence of the Commission is unnecessary ...
Now, therefore, in exercise ofthe powers under clause (a) of Sub - section ( 1 ) of Section 7 of the Commission of Inquiry Act, 1952 (60 of 1952) the CentralGovernmenthereby declares that the Commission shall cease to exist with effect from 31st October, 2006.
अतः , अब , केन्द्रीय सरकार , जाँच आयोग अधिनियम , 1952 (1952का 60 ) की धारा 7 की उप- धारा ( 1 ) के खंड ( क) , जिसे इसमें इसके पश्चात् आयोग कहा गया है, द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का इस्तेमाल करते हुए , यह घोषणा करती है कि दिनांक 31 अक्तूबर , 2006 से उक्त आयोग की विद्यमानता समाप्त हो जाएगी ।
