का.आ. 1896( अ.)-विशेष आर्थिक जोन नियमावली, 2006 के नियम 8 के साथ पठित विशेष आर्थिक जोन अधिनियम, 2005 (2005 का 28 ) की धारा 4 की उप - धारा 1 ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए और पुथुवाइपीन , केरल स्थित पत्तन में विशेष आर्थिक जोन की स्थापना के लिए धारा 3 की उप - धरा ( 10 ) के तहत मैसर्स कोचीन पोर्ट ट्रस्ट को दिनांक 18 अप्रैल, 2006 को अनुमोदन- पत्र प्रदान किए जाने के उपरांत, केन्द्र सरकार इस बात से संतुष्ट होने के बाद कि उक्त अधिनियम की धारा 3 की उप- धारा ( 8 ) के अंतर्गत दी गई अपेक्षाओं और अन्य संबंधित अपेक्षाओं को पूरा कर लिया गया है , एतद्वारा केरल राज्य में पुथुवाइपीन , एर्नाकुलम जिले में निम्नलिखित क्षेत्र को विशेष आर्थिक जोन के रूप में अधिसूचित करती है , िसमें निम्नलिखित तालिका में उल्लिखित सर्वेक्षण संख्याएं और क्षेत्र शामिल हैं, अर्थात्

Zone in the port at Puthuvypeen, Kerala , the Central Government , on being satisfied that the requirements under Sub- section (8) of Section 3 of the said Act and other related requirements are fulfilled, hereby notifies the following area at Puthuvypeen , Ernakulam District , in the State of Kerala , comprising of the survey numbers and the area given in the Table below, as a Special Economic Zone , namely :-
