एक मुख्य विषय के रूप में अर्थशास्त्र (जिसमें एक वर्ष अथवा दो वर्ष अथवा तीनों वर्षों में, जैसा भी मामला हो, सांख्यिकी एक पेपर के रूप में रहा हो ) के साथ स्नातक डिग्री अथवा सा.का.नि. 690( अ ). राष्ट्रपति एतद्वारा भारत के संविधान के अनुच्छेद 309 के परन्तुक द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए अधीनस्थ सांख्यिकीय सेवा ( समूह- ग ) नियमावली, 2002 को और संशोधित करने हेतु निम्नलिखित नियम बनाते हैं, अर्थात्:-
एक मुख्य विषय के रूप में वाणिज्य ( जिसमें एक वर्ष अथवा दो वर्ष अथवा तीनों वर्षों में, जैसा भी मामला हो , सांख्यिकी एक पेपर के रूप में रहा हो ) के साथ स्नातक डिग्री
अवश्य होनी चाहिए । "
1. (i ) इन नियमों को अधीनस्थ सांख्यिकीय सेवा (समूह -ग) (संशोधन ) नियमावली , 2006 कहा जाए ।
टिप्पणीः अभ्यर्थी में अन्यथा विशेष योग्यता होवे पर आयोग अपने विवेकाधिकार से योग्यता का शिथलीकरण कर सकता है।
( ii ) ये सरकारी राजपत्र में उनके प्रकाशित होने की तिथि से प्रवृत्त होंगे ।
2. अधीनस्थसांख्यिकीय सेवा ( समूह-ग ) नियमावली, 2002 में-
(i ) अनुसूची- II के भाग 11 में पैराग्राफ 5 के स्थान पर निम्नलिखित पैराग्राफ प्रतिस्थापित होगा, अर्थात्:
2( ii ) अनुसूची III में, सीधी भर्ती हेतु अपेक्षित, शैक्षणिक तथा अन्य योग्यताएं शीर्षक से संबंधित कालम " 8 " में, सांख्यिकीय अन्वेषक ग्रेड- IV के पद के समक्ष , प्रविष्टि के स्थान पर निम्नलिखित प्रविष्टिप्रतिस्थापित होगी , अर्थात्:
"शैक्षणिक योग्यता:
"एक मुख्य विषय के रूप में सांख्यिकी के साथ स्नातक डिग्री अथवा
एक मुख्य विषय के रूप में गणित ( जिसमें एक वर्ष अथवा दो वर्ष अथवा तीनों वर्षों में, जैसा भी मामला हो, सांख्यिकी एक पेपर के रूप में रहा हो) के साथ स्नातक डिग्री अथवा सेवा के सांख्यिकीय अन्वेषक ग्रेड- IV के ग्रेड में सीधी भर्ती के लिए अभ्यर्थी के पास भारत में केन्द्रीय अधिनियम अथवा राज्य अधिनियम द्वारा स्थापित/निगमित विश्वविद्यालय अथवा ऐसे घोषित संस्थान जो विश्वविद्यालय अनुदान आयोग अधिनियम, 1956 की धारा 3 के अधीन विश्वविद्यालय के रूप में माने जाएंगे अथवा समय - समय पर केन्द्रीय सरकार द्वारा अनुमोदित एक विदेशी विश्वविद्यालय से :
एक मुख्य विषय के रूप में अर्थशास्त्र ( जिसमें एक वर्ष अथवा दो वर्ष अथवा तीनों वर्षों में, जैसा भी मामला हो , सांख्यिकी एक पेपर के रूप में रहा हो ) के साथ स्नातक डिग्री अथवा अथवा एक मुख्य विषय के रूप में सांख्यिकी के साथ स्नातक डिग्री
एक मुख्य विषय के रूप में वाणिज्य ( जिसमें एक वर्ष अथवा दो वर्ष अथवा तीनों वर्षों में, जैसा भी मामला हो, सांख्यिकी एक मुख्य विषय के रूप में गणित ( जिसमें एक वर्ष अथवा दो

Bachelor's Degrée with Commerce (with Statistics as a paper in one year or two years or all the three years as the case may be) as one of the main subjects टिप्पणी : मुख्यनियम अधिसूचना संख्या सा.का.नि. 99 ( अ) दिनांक 12 फरवरी , 2002 के तहत प्रकाशित तथा तत्पश्चात् सं. का.का.नि. 301 ( अ ) दिनांक 4 अप्रैल , 2003 के तहत संशोधित किए गए थे ।
from a University established or incorporated by a Central Act or State Act in India or such institutions declared as deemed tobe Universities under Section 3 ofthe University Grants Commission Act, 1956 or a foreign University approved by the Central Government from time to time.

G. S. R. 690 (E) . In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution of India, the President hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Subordinate Statistical Service ( Group C) Rules , 2002, namely:---
2 (ii) in Schedule III, against the post of Statistical InvestigatorGrade - IV, in column 8 relating to the heading Educational and other qualifications required for direct recruits, for the entry , the following entry shall be substituted, namely:-
"Bachelor's Degree with Statistics as one ofthe main subjects or
1. (1) These rules may be called the Subordinate Statistical Service (Group C) (Amendment) , Rules , 2006 .
(ii) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

2. In the Subordinate Statistical Service (Group C) Rules, 2002,--
Bachelor's Degree with Economics (with Statistics as a paper in one year or two years or all the three years as the case may be ) as one ofthe main subjects (1) in Part II of Schedule II, for paragraph 5, the following paragraph shall be substituted, namely:-
" Educational Qualifications :
Bachelor's Degree with Commerce (with Statistics as a paper in one year or two years or all the three years as the case may be) as one ofthe main subjects. " A candidate for direct recruitment to the grade of Statistical Investigator Grade - IV of the service must have obtained a, ---
