टिप्पणीः मूल विनियम भारत के राजपत्र में प्रकाशित हुआ था तथा बाद में इसमें निम्नलिखित विवरण के अनुसार संशोधन किए गए।

No. HO/Admn/F - 49/04608 (E) .-In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 19 read with Sub- section (2) ofSection 12 of the Banking Companics (Acquisition and Transfer ofUndertakings) Act, 1970/ 1980 * ( 5 of 1970/40 of 1980*), the Board of Directors of Allahabad Bank in consultation with the Reserve Bank of India and with the previous sanction of the Central Government , hereby makes the following regulations to the Allahabad Bank (Officers ' ) ServiceRegulations , 1979 , namely:-
1. Short title and commencement : ----
(1) These Regulations may be called the Allahabad Bank (Officers ' ) Service (Amendment) Regulations , 2006.
(2) These Regulations shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Allahabad Bank (Officers ' ) Service (Amendment) Regulations , 1979 , in regulation 5:--
(a) In sub - regulation ( 1 ) , under clause ( c ) , after the proviso and before the Note the following proviso shall be inserted, namely:

"Provided further that such increment/s in the nexthigher scale/ stagnation increment/ s shall not be allowed to an officer who refuses promotion whenoffered";
(b) In sub - regulation (2) in clause ( d) of the Explanation, after Note ( ii ) , the following Note shall be inserted , namely:
" (iii ) An Officer shall not be eligible for Professional Qualification Pay , as above , if he refuses to accept promotion when offered."
