आ.अ. 111 ( अ).-यतः , आन्ध्र प्रदेश राज्य से लोक सभा में उस राज्य के 37 करीमनगर संसदीय निर्वाचन क्षेत्र से निर्वाचित श्री के. चन्द्रशेखर राव का स्थान उनके त्यागपत्र देने के परिणामस्वरूप 23 सितम्बर , 2006 से रिक्त हो गया है ; और
2. यतः इस प्रकार हुई रिक्ति को भरने के प्रयोजन से उप - निर्वाचन कराया जाना है ;
3. अतः , अब लोक प्रतिनिधित्व अधिनियम , 1951 ( 1951 का 43 ) की धारा 149 की उप - धारा ( 1 ) , धारा 30 और 56 के अनुसरण में, भारत निर्वाचन आयोग , एतद्वारा-
(अ) आन्ध्र प्रदेश राज्य में उक्त 37 - करीमनगर संसदीय निर्वाचन क्षेत्र से यह अपेक्षा करता है कि वह 9 दिसम्बर , 2006 ( शनिवार) से पहले तथा उक्त अधिनियम और तद्दीन बनाए गए नियमों और किए गए आदेशों के उपबन्धों के अनुसार लोक सभा में उक्त रिक्ति को भरने के प्रयोजन से एक व्यक्ति को निर्वाचित करे; और
(आ) उक्त निर्वाचन के संबंध में-
(क) नाम -निर्देशन करने की अन्तिम तारीख 17 नवम्बर, 2006 ( शुक्रवार) ;
(ख) नाम- निर्देशनों की संवीक्षा की तारीख 18 नवम्बर , 2006 ( शनिवार);
(ग ) अभ्यर्थितायें वापस लेने की अन्तिम तारीख 20 नवम्बर , 2006 (सोमवार);
(घ ) वह तारीख जिसको यदि आवश्यक हुआ तो मतदान होगा 4 दिसम्बर , 2006 ( सोमवार);
(ङ) वह तारीख जिससे पूर्व निर्वाचन सम्पन्न कर लिया जायेगा 9 दिसम्बर , 2006 ( शनिवार )
नियत करता है; एवं
( इ) 7.00 बजे पूर्वान्ह से 5.00 बजे अपरान्ह तक का समय ऐसे समय के रूप में नियत करता है जिसके दौरान , यदि आवश्यक हुआ तो , निर्वाचन के लिए उपरोक्त विनिर्दिष्ट तारीख को मतदान होगा ।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 10th November , 2006
Ο. Ν. 111 (E ).-Whereas , the seat of Shri K. Chandrashekar Rao , in the House of the People from the State of Andhra Pradesh , elected from 37 - Karimnagar Parliamentary Constituency has become vacant on 23rd September, 2006, by reason of his resignation; and
2. Whereas , a bye - election is to be held for the purpose of filling the vacancy so caused ;
3. Now, therefore , in pursuance of Sub- section ( 1) of Section 149 , Sections 30 and 56 of the Representation of thePeopleAct, 1951 ( 43 of 1951 ) , the Election Commission of India hereby
(A) Calls upon the 37 - Karimnagar Parliamentary Constituency in the State of Andhra Pradesh to elect , before the 9th December , 2006 ( Saturday) and in accordance with the provisions of the said Act and of the rules and orders made thereunder, a person, for the purpose of filling the said vacancy in the House of the People; and
(B) Appoints , with respect to the said election ,-
(a) the 17th November , 2006 ( Friday) as the last date for making nominations ;
(b) the 18th November , 2006 ( Saturday) as the date for the scrutiny of nominations ;
(c) the 20th November , 2006 ( Monday) as the last date for the withdrawal of candidatures ;
(d) the 4th December , 2006 (Monday) as the date on which a poll shall , if necessary , be taken;
(e) the 9th December , 2006 ( Saturday) as the date before which the election shall be completed ; and (C) Fixes the hours from7.00 A. M. to 5.00 P. M. , as the hours during which the poll shall , if necessary , be taken onthe date specified above for the election .
