का.आ. 1951 (अ).-भारतीय चिकित्सा केंद्रीय परिषद् ( निर्वाचन ) नियमावली , 1975 के नियम 23 के साथ पठित भारतीय चिकित्सा केंद्रीय परिषद् अधिनियम , 1970 ( 1970 का 48 ) की धारा 3 की उप - धारा ( 1 ) के खंड ( ख ) के अनुसरण में , संपूर्णानंद संस्कृत विश्वविद्यालय, जगतगंज , वाराणसी की आयुर्वेद चिकित्सा पद्धति से एक सदस्य को, उक्त विश्वविद्यालय के आयुर्वेद संकाय के सदस्यों द्वारा अपने बीच से निर्वाचित किया गया है ;
अतएव, उक्त अधिनियम की धारा 3 की उप- धारा ( 1 ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए , केंद्र सरकार अब स्वास्थ्य और परिवार कल्याण मंत्रालय में भारत सरकार की दिनांक 21 अगस्त, 1971 की अधिसूचना संख्या का.आ. 3259 ( अ ) , में निम्नांकित और संशोधन करती है , अर्थात्:-
उक्त अधिसूचना में , " धारा 3 की उप - धारा ( 1 ) के खंड ( ख ) के तहत निर्वाचित " शीर्षक के अंतर्गत सारणी में, निम्मलिखित विश्वविद्यालय के सामने , उनसे संबंधित प्रविष्टियों के स्थान पर, निम्नलिखित प्रविष्टियां रखी जाएंगी , अर्थात्:-

New Delhi , the 14th November , 2006
S.O. 1951 ( E) . Whereas , in pursuance of clause (d) of Sub - section ( 1 ) of Section 3 of the Indian Medicine Central Council Act , 1970 (48 of 1970) read with the rule 23 of the Indian Medicine Central Council (Election ) Rules , 1975 , one member from Ayurveda system of Medicine of Sampurnanand Sanskrit University , Jagatganj , Varanasi has been elected froinamongst themselves by the members of Ayurveda faculty of the said University ;
Now, therefore , in exercise of the powers conferred by Sub - section ( 1 ) of Section 3 of the said Act , the Central Government makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India , in the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare , number S.O. 3259 ( E ) , dated the 21st August , 1971 , namely : - ..
In the said notification , under the heading " Elected under clause ( b ) of Sub - section ( 1 ) of Section 3 " , in the Table ,. against the following University, for the entries relating thereto, the following entries shall be substituted , namely :-
