का.आ. 1958(अ) .-केन्द्रीय सरकार , राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग अधिनियम , 1956 ( 1956 का 48 ) की धारा 3 के खण्ड ( क ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए , अपर जिला कलक्टर , पूर्व को सिक्किम राज्य में नीचे दी गई अनुसूची में यथा विनिर्दिष्ट राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग सं. 31 ए के 52.000 कि.मी. से 90.000 कि.मी. (सेवॉक- गंगटोक सेक्शन ) तक के संबंध में विद्यमान राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग के भूखण्ड का निर्माण (चौड़ा करने/चार लेन बनाने आदि ) , अनुरक्षण , प्रबंध और प्रचालन करने के लिए उक्त अधिनियम के अधीन सक्षम प्राधिकारी के कृत्यों का पालन करने के लिए इस अधिसूचना के राजपत्र में प्रकाशन की तारीख से सक्षम प्राधिकारी के रूप में प्राधिकृत करती है :-

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 14th November , 2006
S.O. 1958 (E ) .-In exercise of the powers conferred by clause ( a) of Section 3 of the Nationa . Highways Act , 1956 (48 of 1956), the Central Government hereby authorises the Additional District Collector , East , as the competent authority to perform the functions of such authority under the said Act with effect from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette , in respect of the stretch of land from km. 52.000 to km. 90.000 of National Highway No. 31A (Sevok- Gangtok Section) for building (widening/ four - laning , etc. ) , maintenance , management and operation of the existing highway inthe State of Sikkim , as specified in the Schedule given below :---
