सा.का.नि. 699( अ ) केन्द्रीय सरकार केन्द्रीय उत्पाद शुल्क अधिनियम, 1944 ( 1944 का 1 ) की धारा 4क की उपधारा ( 1 ) एवं (2 ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए , यह समाधान हो जाने पर कि ऐसा करना लोकहित में आवश्यक है , भारत सरकार के वित्त मंत्रालंय. (राजस्व विभाग ) की अधिसूचना सं. 2/2006- केन्द्रीय उत्पाद शुल्क ( एन.टी. ) , तारीख 1 मार्च, 2006 , सा.का.नि. 113 ( अ) , तारीख 1 मार्च , 2006 में निम्नलिखित और संशोधन करती है : -
उक्त अधिसूचना में , सारणी में, क्रम सं. 91 के सामने , स्तंभ (3) में, शब्द " निम्नलिखित माल " के स्थान पर शब्द " निम्नलिखित माल , ऑटोमोबाइल के लैंप को छोड़कर " प्रतिस्थापित किया जाएगा ।

No. 24/2006-Central Excise ( N.Τ. )
G.S.R. 699 ( E ) .-In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section ( 1) and sub - section (2) of Section 4A of the Central Excise Act , 1944 ( 1 of 1944) , the Central Government, on being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do , hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) , No. 2/2006- Central Excise (N.T. ) , dated the 1st March, 2006, G.S.R. 113 ( E) , dated the 1st March, 2006 , namely :---
In the said notification, in the TABLE , against S. No. 91 , in column (3 ) , for the words " The following goods " , the words " The following goods , other than lamps for automobiles " shall be substituted.

Note : The principal notification No. 2/2006 - Central Excise (N.T. ) , dated the 1st March , 2006 , was published vide number G.S.R. 113 (E) , dated the 1st March , 2006 and was last amended by notification No. 16/2006 - Central Excise (N.T. ) , dated the 11th July, 2006, G.S.R. 415(E) , dated the 11th July, 2006.
