का.. 2002( अ)- केन्द्रीय सरकार, मानव अधिकार संरक्षण ( संशोधन) अधिनियम , 2006 ( 2006 का 43 ) की धारा 1 की उप - धारा ( 2 ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए , 23 नवम्बर , 2006 को उस तारीख के रूप में नियत करती है जिसको उक्त अधिनियम प्रवृत्त होगा ।
