New Delhi , the 23rd November , 2006
G.S.R. 724 ( E) . In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section ( 1 ) of Section 3 of All India Services Act, 1951 ( 61 of 1951 ) , read with sub- rule 2 of Rule 4 of the Indian Forest Service (Cadre) Rules , 1966, the Central Government, in consultation with the Government of Punjab hereby makes the following regulations further to amend the Indian Forest Service ( Fixation of Cadre Strength) Regulations , 1966 , namely:-
(i ) These Regulations shall be called the Indian Forest Service ( Fixation of Cadre Strength) Seventh Amendment Regulations , 2006 .
(ii) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette .
2. In the Schedule to the Indian Forest Service (Fixation of Cadre Strength) Regulations , 1966 , for the heading ' Punjab ' and the entries occurring thereunder , the following shall be substituted , namely:--

सा.का.नि. 725( अ ).- भारतीय वन सेवा ( वेतन) नियमावली , 1968 के नियम 11 के साथ पठित, अखिल भारतीय सेवा अधिनियम , 1951 ( 1951 का 61 ) की धारा 3 की उप- धारा ( 1 ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए , केन्द्रीय सरकार , पंजाब सरकार के परामर्श से, भारतीय वन सेवा ( वेतन ) नियमावली , 1968 में आगे और संशोधन करने के लिए एतद्द्वारा निम्नलिखित नियम बनाती है ,
अर्थात्:-

1. (i) इन नियमों का नाम भारतीय वन सेवा ( वेतन ) सातवां संशोधन नियमावली, 2006 है ।
(ii) ये नियम शासकीय राजपत्र में इनके प्रकाशन की तारीख को प्रवृत्त होंगे ।

भारतीय वन सेवा ( वेतन ) नियमावली , 1968 में : -
(क) अनुसूची III- क में राज्य सरकारों के अधीन , भारतीय वन सेवा के समय वेतनमान से अधिक वेतन वाले पदों में तालिका के प्रथम कॉलम की " पंजाब " प्रविष्टि और दूसरे तथा तीसरे कॉलमों की तद्नुरूपी प्रविष्टियों के स्थान पर, निम्नलिखित प्रतिस्थापित किया जाएगा , अर्थात्:-

( ख ) अनुसूची III-ख में समय वेतनमान में , वेतन के अतिरिक्त विशेष वेतन वाले पदों सहित राज्य सरकारों के अधीन भारतीय वन सेवा के वरिष्ठ समय वेतनमान में , वेतन वाले पद तालिका के पहले कॉलम में आने वाली 'पंजाब ' प्रविष्टि के लिए और दूसरे कॉलमों में आने वाली तदनुरूपी प्रविष्टियों के स्थान पर निम्नलिखित प्रतिस्थापित किया जाएगा , अर्थात्:-

New Delhi , the 23rd November , 2006
G.S.R. 725 (E ) . In exercise ofthe powers conferred by Sub - section (1 ) of Section 3 of All India Services Act, 1951 (61 of 1951) , read with Rule 11 of the Indian Forest Service (Pay) Rules , 1968, the Central Government, in consultationwith the Government ofPunjab hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Indian Forest Service (Pay) Rules , 1968, namely :-
1. (i) These Rules shall be called the Indian Forest Service (Pay) Seventh Amendment Rules , 2006.
(ii) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Indian Forest Service (Pay) Rules , 1968 :-
(a) In " Schedule III -A Posts carrying pay above the Time Scale in the Indian Forest Service under the State Governments" in the Table, for the entry ' Punjab' appearing in the first column and the corresponding entry in the second and third columns , the following shall be substituted , namely :---
