सं. पीईआर/पीए एण्ड पीडी/ 5244/2006.-बैंककारी कंपनी ( उपक्रमों का अर्जन एवं अंतरण ) अधिनियम, 1980 ( 1980 का 40) की धारा 12 की उप- धारा (2 ) के साथ पठित धारा 19 द्वारा प्रदत्त अधिकारों का प्रयोग करते हुए , विजया बैंक का निदेशक मंडल , भारतीय रिजर्व बैंक के परामर्श से और केंद्र सरकार के पूर्वानुमोदन से, विजया बैंक अधिकारी सेवा विनियम , 1982 में आगे संशोधन करने के लिए 'निम्नलिखित विनियम बनाता है , अर्थात्: -
1. ( 1 ) इन विनियमों को, विजया बैंक अधिकारी सेवा संशोधन विनियम , 2006 कहा जाए ।
( 2 ) ये विनियम, राजपत्र में उनके प्रकाशन की तारीख से लागू होंगे ।
2. विजया बैंक अधिकारी सेवा विनियम, 1982 में विनियम 5 में :
( क) परंतुक के बाद और नोट से पहले , खंड ( ग ) के तहत उप- विनियम ( 1 ) में नीचे उल्लिखित परंतुक जोड़ा जाएगा , अर्थात्;
" आगे यह कि अगले उच्चतर वेतन - मान में ऐसी वेतन- वृद्धि/वेतन- अवरोध वेतन वृद्धि, उस अधिकारी को नहीं दी जाएगी जिसने पदोन्नति दिए जाने पर उसे नकारा हो । "
(ख ) नोट ( ii ) के बाद स्पष्टीकरण के खंड ( घ) में उप- विनियम (2 ) में नीचे उल्लिखित नोट जोड़ा जाएगा , अर्थात् ;
( iii ) अगर कोई अधिकारी , पदोन्नति दिए जाने पर उसे नकारे तो वह ऊपर उल्लिखित पेशेवर अर्हता वेतन के लिए पात्र नहींहोगा ।

Bangalore, the 11th November, 2006
No. PER/PA & PD/ 5244/2006. In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 19 read with sub- section (2) of Section 12 of the Banking Companies (Acquisition and Transfer of Undertakings) Act, 1980 (40 of 1980 ) , the Board of Directors of Vijaya Bank in consultation with the Reserve Bank of India and with the previous sanction of the Central Governmenthereby makes the following regulations further to amend the Vijaya Bank Officers Service Regulations ; 1982 , namely:
1. ( 1 ) These regulations may be called the Vijaya Bank Officers ' Service Amendment Regulations , 2006 .
(2) These regulations shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Official Gazette .
2. In the Vijaya Bank Officers ' Service Regulations , 1982, in Regulation 5:
(a) in sub- regulation ( 1 ), under clause (c) after the proviso and before the Note the following proviso shall be inserted, namely
"Provided further that such increment/s in the next higher scale/ stagnation increment/ s shall not be allowed to an officer who refuses promotion when offered" .
(b) in sub -regulation (2 ) in clause ( d) of the Explanation after Note ( ii ) , the following Note shall be inserted, namely
"(iii) An Officer shall not be eligible for Professional Qualification pay , as above , ifhe refuses to accept promotionwhen offered .
