का.आ. 2109( अ ), केन्द्रीय सरकार , आयकर अधिनियम, 1961 ( 1961 का 43 ) की धारा 2 के खंड 48 द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए , उक्त खंड के प्रयोजनों के लिए , जीरो कूपन बंधपत्र के रूप में निम्नलिखित विशिष्टियों के साथ बंधपत्र को विनिर्दिष्ट करती है , अर्थात्: -
(क) बंधपत्र का नाम
हाउसिंग एंड डेवलपमेंट कॉर्पोरेशन लिमिटेड ( हुडको ) का पन्द्रह वर्षीय जीरो कूपन बंधपत्र ;
पन्द्रह वर्ष ;
(ख) बंधपत्र की जीवन अवधि
( ग ) बंधपत्र के जारी होने का निश्चित समय
31 मार्च , 2009 को या उसके पूर्व जारी होने के लिए ;
प्रत्येक बंधपत्र के लिए दस लाख रुपए ;
(घ ) बंधपत्र की परिपक्वता या मोचन पर संदेय की जानी वाली रकम
( ङ) बट्टा
बंधपत्र के जारी होने के समय हुडको द्वारा विनिश्चय किया जाना है ;
पांच हजार ।
(च ) जारी किए जाने वाले बंधपत्रों की संख्या
2. यह अधिसूचना आय- कर नियम , 1962 के नियम 8 ख के उप - नियम (3 ) के खंड ( ii ) , खंड ( iii ) , और खंड ( v ) और उप -नियम ( 6 ) में निर्दिष्ट शर्तों के पूरा करने के अध्यधीन है ।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 15th December , 2006
(Income-tax)
S.O. 2109 ( E ) . In exercise of the powers conferred by clause 48 of Section 2 of the Income - tax Act, 1961 (43 of 1961 ) , the Central Government hereby specifics the bond with the following particulars as zero coupon bond for the purposes of the said clause , namely :--
(a) name of the bond
--fifteen years zero coupon bond of Housing and Urban Developnient Corporation Limited (HUDCO) ;
fifteen years;
(b) period of life of the bond
(c) the time schedule of the issue of the bond to be issued on or before the 31st day of March , 2009 ;
-ten lakh rupees for cach bond;
(d) the amount to be paid on maturity or redemption of the bond
(e) the discount
to be decided by HUDCO at the lime of issue of the bond; and
---five thousand.
(f) the number of bonds to be issued
2. This notification is subject to the fulfilment of conditions referred to in clause (ii ), clause (iii ) and clause ( v) of sub-rule (3) and sub - rule (6) of rule 8B of the Income - tax Rules, 1962.
