का. आ. 2111 ( अ ).-केन्द्रीय सरकार, आयकर अधिनियम , 1961 ( 1961 का 43 ) की धारा 2 के खंड 48 द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए , उक्त खंड के प्रयोजनों के लिए , जीरो कूपन बंधपत्र के रूप में निम्नलिखित विशिष्टियों के साथ बंधपत्र को विनिर्दिष्ट करती है, अर्थात :
(क) बंधपत्र का नाम
राष्ट्रीय कृषि और ग्रामीण विकास बैंक ( नाबार्ड ) का दस वर्षीय जीरो कूपन बंधपत्र ;
दस वर्ष ;
( ख) बंधपत्र की जीवन अवधि
(ग ) बंधपत्र के जारी होने का निश्चित समय
31 मार्च, 2009 को या उसके पूर्व जारी होने के लिए ;
प्रत्येक बंधपत्र के लिए बीस हजार रुपए ;
(घ) बंधपत्र की परिपक्वता या मोचन पर संदेय की जानी वाली रकम
बंधपत्र के जारी होने के समय नाबार्ड द्वारा विनिश्चय किया जाना है ;
( ङ) बट्टा
(च) जारी किए जाने वाले बंधपत्रों की संख्या एक करोड तीन लाख और दस हजार ;
2. यह अधिसूचना आय- कर नियम , 1962 के नियम ४ ख के उप - नियम ( 3 ) के खंड ( ii ) , खंड ( iii ) , और खंड ( v ) और उप-नियम ( 6 ) में निर्दिष्ट शर्तों के पूरा करने के अधीन है ।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 15th December, 2006
(Income-tax)
S.O. 2111 ( E) . In exercise of the powers conferred by clause 48 of Section 2 of the Income- tax Act, 1961 (43 of 1961 ), the Central Government hereby specifics the bond with the following particulars as zero coupon bond for the purposes of the said clause , namely :--
(a) name of the bond
(b) period of life of the bond
(c) the time schedule of the issue of the bond
(d) the amount to be paid on maturity or redemption of the bond
(e) the discount
(f) the number of bonds to be issued -ten years zero coupon bond of National Bank of Agriculture and Rural Development ( NABARD) ;
ten years;
--to be issued on or before the 31st day of March, 2009;
twenty thousand rupees for each bond;
---to be decided by NABARD at the time of issue of the bond; and
one crore three lakhs and ten thousand.
2. This notification is subjectto the fulfillment of conditions referred to in clause ( ii ) , clause ( iii ) and clause ( v ) of sub- rule (3 ) and sub- rule (6) of rule 8B of the Income - tax Rules , 1962 .
