का.आ. 14( अ ).- जबकि राष्ट्रीय ग्रामीण रोजगार गारंटी अधिनियम, 2005 ( 2005 का 42 ) ( जिसे इसमें इसके बाद उक्त अधिनियम कहा गया है ) की धारा 4 की उप- धारा ( 1 ) में यह प्रावधान है कि धारा 3 के प्रावधानों को प्रभावी करने के उद्देश्य से प्रत्येक राज्य सरकार इस अधिनियम के प्रारंभ से छः माह के भीतर , अधिसूचना द्वारा , एक योजना बनाएगी;
और जबकि छः माह की उक्त अवधि बीत गई है और कुछ राज्य सरकारें उक्त योजना नहीं बना सकीं हैं;
अतः अब उक्त अधिनियम की धारा 34 की उप- धारा ( 1. ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते केन्द्र सरकार इसके द्वारा धारा 4 की उप- धारा ( 1 ) में प्रदत्त अवधि को राज्य सरकार द्वारा धारा 4 की उप - धारा ( 1 ) के अंतर्गत योजना बनाने के प्रयोजन से अधिनियम के प्रारंभ की तारीख से " छः माह " से बढ़ाकर " एक वर्ष " करती है ।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 4th January, 2007
S.O. 14 (E) . Whereas , Sub- section (1) of Section 4 ofthe National Rural Employment Guarantee Act, 2005 (42 of2005) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act ) provides that for the purposes of giving effect to the provisions of Section 3 , every State Government shall, within six months fromthe commencement of this Act, by notification, make ▸a Scheme ;
And whereas , the said period of six months has elapsed and some of the State Governments could not make . the said Scheme ;
Now, therefore , in exercise of powers conferred by Sub-section (1) of Section 34 of the said Act , the Central Government hereby extends the period provided in Sub- section ( 1 ) of Section 4 from " six months " to " one year " from the date of commencement of the Act for the purposes ofmaking a Scheme under Sub- section (1) of Section 4 by the State Government .
