का.आ. 36(अ).-यतः मैसर्स रायल पाम्स ( इंडिया ) प्रां. लिमिटेड, मुम्बई, जो महाराष्ट्र राज्य का एक गैर- सरकारी संगठन है, ने महाराष्ट्र राज्य में 169 , आरे मिल्क कॉलोनी , गोरेगाँव ( पूर्व ) , मुम्बई में सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी और सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी समर्थित सेवाओं के लिए एक क्षेत्र विशिष्ट विशेष आर्थिक जोन की स्थापना हेतु विशेष आर्थिक जोन अधिनियम, 2005 ( 2005 का 28 ) , जिसे एतपश्चात् अधिनियम कहा गया है, की धारा 3 के अंतर्गत प्रस्ताव किया है;
और यतः केन्द्र सरकार इस बात से संतुष्ट है कि अधिनियम की धारा 3 की उप- धारा ( 8 ) के अंतर्गत अपेक्षाओं तथा अन्य संबंधित अपेक्षाओं को पूरा कर लिया गया है और उसने उक्त मिल्क कॉलोनी , गोरेगाँव ( पूर्व ) में सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी और सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी समर्थित सेवाओं के लिए उक्त क्षेत्र विशिष्ट विशेष आर्थिक जोन के विकास , प्रचालन हेतु अधिनियम की धारा 3 की उप - धारा ( 10 ) के अंतर्गत 23 अक्तूबर , 2006 को अनुमोदन पत्र प्रदान कर दिया है ;
अतः , अब , अधिनियम की धारा 4 की उप - धारा ( 1 ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए और विशेष आर्थिक जोन नियम , 2006 के नियम 8 के अनुसरण में केन्द्र सरकार एतद्वारा महाराष्ट्र राज्य में 169 , आरे मिल्क कॉलोनी , गोरेगाँव ( पूर्व ) , मुम्बई में निम्नलिखित क्षेत्र को एक विशेष आर्थिक जोन के रूप में अधिसूचित करती है जिसमें निम्नलिखित सर्वेक्षण संख्या और क्षेत्र शामिल है , अर्थात्:-

S.O. 36(E) . Whereas M/ s . Royal Palms (India ) Private Limited of Mumbai, a Private Organisation of the State of Maharashtra, has proposed under Section 3 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 (28 of 2005) , hereinafter referred to as 127 GI/2007 (1) [PART II-SEC. 3 (ii)] THE GAZETTE OF INDIA: EXTRAORDINARY

the Act, to set up a sector specific Special Economic Zone for information technology and information technology enabled services at 169 , Aarrey Milk Colony, Goregaon (East ) , Mumbai in the State of Maharashtra;
Andwhereas the Central Government is satisfied that requirements under Sub - section (8 ) of Section 3 of the Act , and other related requirements are fulfilled and it has granted letter of approval under Sub- section (10) of Section 3 of the Act for development , operation of the sector specific Special Economic Zone for information technology and information technology enabled services at the said Milk Colony, Goregaon (East ) arca on 23rd October, 2006;
Now, therefore , in exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section (1 ) of Section 4 of the Act and in pursuance of rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules , 2006, the Central Government hereby notifies the following area at 169 , Aarrey Milk Colony, Goregaon (East ) , Mumbai in the State of Maharashtra , comprising of the survey number and the area given below, as a Special Economic Zone , namely : ---
