सं. टीएएमपी/63/2005-सीओपीटी. महापत्तन न्यास अधिनियम , 1963 ( 1963 का 38 ) की धारा 48 , 49 तथा 50 के द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए , महापत्तन प्रशुल्क प्राधिकरण एतद्वारा , संलग्न आदेशानुसार , कोच्चि पत्तन न्यास की वर्तमान दरों की वैधता का विस्तार करता है ।

(दिसम्बर , 2006 के 29वें दिन पारित )
कोच्चिपत्तन न्यास के दरमान को इस प्राधिकरण द्वारा पिछली बार दिसम्बर , 2003 में संशोधित किया गया था और दिनांक 14 जनवरी , 2004 को भारत के राजपत्र में अधिसूचित किया गया था । दरमान की वैधता को आदेश की अधिसूचना की तारीख से , दो साल के लिए निर्धारित किया गया था और तदनुसार, वह जनवरी , 2006 में समीक्षा के लिए अपेक्षित हो गयी थी ।
2. वर्तमान दरमान की वैधता को , इस प्राधिकरण द्वारा , दिनांक 26 जून , 2006 के आदेश द्वारा 31 दिसम्बर , 2006 तक विस्तारित किया गया था । यह आदेश , राजपत्र सं. 104 द्वारा राजपत्र दिनांक 5 जुलाई , 2006 के राजपत्र में अधिसूचित किया गया था ।
3. चूंकि, सीओपीटी द्वारा दाखिल किये गये सामान्य संशोधन प्रस्ताव को अंतिम रूप देने के लिए कुछ अधिक समय लेगा , यह प्राधिकरण सीओपीटी के अनुरोध को स्वीकार करता है तथा सीओपीटी के वर्तमान दरंमान की वैधता को , उसके दरमान की वैधता समाप्त होने की तिथि से 3 ( तीन ) महीने की अवधि तक के लिए अथवा इस प्राधिकरण द्वारा अधिसूचित होने वाले अंतिम दरों की कार्यान्वयन तिथि से , इनमें से जो भी पहले हो , विस्तारित करता है ।

NOTIFICATION
Mumbai , the 9th January , 2007
No. TAMP/63/ 2005- COPT.-In exercise of the powers conferred by Sections 48 , 49 and 50 of the Major Port Trusts Act, 1963 ( 38 of 1963 ), the Tariff Authority for Major Ports hereby extends the validity of the prevailing rates of Cochin Port Trust as in the Order appended hereto.

(Passed on this 29th day of December, 2006)
The Scale of Rates ( SOR) of the Cochin Port Trust ( COPT) was last revised by this Authority in December , 2003 and was notified in the Gazette of India on 14 January , 2004. The validity of the Scale of Rates was prescribed for two years from the date of notification of the Order and accordingly, it fell due for review in January , 2006.
2. The validity of existing Scale of Rates was extended by this Authority till 31 December , 2006 vide Order dated 26 June, 2006. This Order was notified in the Gazette on 5 July, 2006 vide Gazette Number 104.
3. Since the general revision proposal filed by COPT will take some more time to finalise , this Authority accedes to the request of the COPT and extends the validity of the existing Scale of Rates of COPT from the date of expiry of validity of its SOR for the period of 3 months or till implementation of final rates to be notified by this Authority , whichever is earlier .
