सं. 1-45023 /2/2006- कार्मिक-II.-केन्द्रीय पुलिस बलों ( सी.पी.एफ. ) अर्थात् सीमा सुरक्षा बल ( बी.एस.एफ. ) , केन्द्रीय रिजर्व पुलिस बल ( सी.आर.पी.एफ. ) , भारतीय तिब्बत सीमा पुलिस ( आई.टी.बी.पी. ) , केन्द्रीय औद्योगिक सुरक्षा बल ( सी.आई.एस.एफ. ) तथा सशस्त्र सीमा बल ( एस.एस.बी. ) में सहायक कमांडेन्ट की रिक्तियों को भरने के उद्देश्य से 2006 में संघ लोक सेवा आयोग द्वारा आयोजित की गई प्रतियोगिता परीक्षा की नियमावली , जिसे6 मई, 2006 को भारत के असाधारण राजपत्र के भाग I , खण्ड 1 में प्रकाशित किया गया , में किए गए संशोधन सर्वसाधारण की जानकारी के लिए प्रकाशित किए जाते हैं।
(i) नियम 4 को ऐसे पढ़ें:-
" 4. इस परीक्षा के लिए पुरुष तथा महिला उम्मीदवार दोनों ही पात्र होंगे किन्तु महिला उम्मीदवारों को केवल के.रि.पु. बल तथा के.औ.सु. बल में नियुक्ति के लिए ही विचार किया जाएगा। "
ii ) नियम 15 के पैरा 8 को ऐसे पढ़ें :-

"साक्षात्कार/व्यक्तित्व परीक्षण के लिए बनाई गई उम्मीदवारों की लघु सूची सहित अनंतिम रूप से साक्षात्कार/व्यक्तित्व परीक्षण के लिए बनाई गई लघु सूची हेतु उम्मीदवारों को विस्तृत आवेदन प्रपत्र जारी किया जाएगा जिसमें अन्य बातों के साथ बल की वरीयताएं निर्दिष्ट करने को कहा जाएगा । चूंकि महिला उम्मीदवार केवल केन्द्रीय रिजर्व पुलिस बल तथा केन्द्रीय औद्योगिक सुरक्षा बल के लिए ही पात्र हैं, उन्हें केवल इन्हीं दो बलों के लिए ही अपनी वरीयता निर्दिष्ट करना अपेक्षित होगा। "
(iii) नियम 20 को ऐसे पढ़ें :-
" 20. अंतिम रूप से चयनित उम्मीदवारों के संबंध में सेवा आबंटन गृह मंत्रालय द्वारा योग्यता तथा बलों के लिए वरीयताओं के आधार पर , जैसे उम्मीदवारों ने विस्तृत आवेदन प्रपत्र में निर्दिष्ट किया है , किया जाएगा। चूंकि महिला उम्मीदवार केवल केन्द्रीय रिजर्व पुलिस बल तथा केन्द्रीय औद्योगिक सुरक्षा बल में नियुक्ति के लिए ही पात्र हैं , उन्हें अपनी वरीयता केवल इन्ही दो बलों के लिए ही निर्दिष्ट करनी होगी । "

Forces (CPFs ) viz . BSF , CRPF, ITBP, CISF and SSB , published in Part I, Section 1 of the Extraordinary Gazette of India dated 6thMay, 2006 are published for general information:
(i) Rule 4 may be read as under:---
"4. Both Male and Female candidates will be eligible for this examination , but Female candidates will be considered for appointment to CRPF and CISF only. "
(ii ) Para 8 of Rule 15 may be read as under :-
"Candidates who are short - listed for Interview/Personality Test, including those short - listed for Interview/ Personality Test provisionally will be issued a Detailed Application Form ( DAF) in which among other things, they will be required to indicate their preferences of Forces. As female candidates are eligible for appointment to CRPF and CISF only , they will be required to indicate their preferences for these two Forces only."
(iii ) Rule 20 may be read as under :-
"20. Service allocation in respect of finally selected candidates will be made by the Ministry of HomeAffairs on the basis of merit and preferences for Forces to be indicated by the candidates in the Detailed Applica- tion Form (DAF) .As Female candidates will be eligible for appointmentto CRPF and CISF only, they will have to indicate their preference for these two Forces only. "
