का.आ. 144( अ ).- विशेष आर्थिक जोन अधिनियम, 2005 ( 2005 का 28 ) की धारा 13 की उप- धारा ( 1 ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का उपयोग करते हुए , केन्द्रीय सरकार , एतद्वारा उक्त अधिनियम के प्रयोजनार्थ सीप्ज विशेष आर्थिक जोन , मुम्बई के लिए एक समिति, जिसे अनुमोदन समिति कहा जाएगा , गठित करती है, जिसके अध्यक्ष और सदस्य निम्नानुसार हैं, अर्थात्:-
1. विकास आयुक्त, सीप्ज विशेष आर्थिक जोन अध्यक्ष , पदेन
2.. निदेशक अथवा उप- सचिव , भारत सरकार , वाणिज्य एवं उद्योग मंत्रालय , वाणिज्य विभाग सदस्य, पदेन
3. क्षेत्रीय संयुक्त विदेश व्यापार महानिदेशक, सीप्ज सदस्य, पदेन
4. सीमाशुल्क पत्तन आयुक्त , मुम्बई अथवा उनका नामिती जिसका स्तर संयुक्त आयुक्त से कम नहींहोगा सदस्य, पदेन
5. आयकर आयुक्त ( जिनका एसईजेड पर भू- भागीय क्षेत्राधिकार है अथवा उनका नामिती जिसका स्तर अनुमोदन सदस्य, पदेन
समिति में संयुक्त आयुक्त से कम नहीं होगा)
6. निदेशक ( बैंकिंग ) , बैंकिंग प्रभाग , वित्त मंत्रालय , भारत सरकार सदस्य, पदेन
